Bought (as was the previous book) as reading practice for learning Spanish. I thought that since it was for children the words would be simple – they aren’t. However despite the fact the story is so well known I was surprised how much I enjoyed reading it and comparing it with the film. If you want to read Spanish this is definitely more entertaining than the standard short stories in Spanish; it covers most of the verb tenses in common use and a good selection of useful phrases. And because the story is familiar it is possible to guess at meanings of unknown words and keep reading rather than having to stop and consult the translation apps. Really recommended for anyone who wants an entertaining read in Spanish.

Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal llegó en perfecto estado, con una encuadernación cuidada y páginas de buena calidad. Es un libro imprescindible para jóvenes y adultos que disfrutan de la fantasía, con una historia cautivadora que marca el inicio de una saga inolvidable.

Letto in spagnolo, è di facile comprensione per un livello medio/alto ma è cmq allenante. Divertente tutta la serie, consigliato per esercitarsi nella lingua

édition hispanophone brochée souple petit format des éditions Salamandra de 2000/1998 présentant le second épisode de la célèbre série mettant en scène le petit sorcier anglais; dans cet opus, on retrouve Harry à la fin du premier été passé dans son affreuse famille adoptive; après les habituelles vexations caricaturales suivies de vengeances magiques non moins extravagantes provoquées par Dobby qui veut l'empêcher d'aller à Poudlard; Harry finit par s'échapper dans la voiture conduite par les frères Weasley et se retrouve à Londres pour faire ses courses de rentrée; avec Ron, ils ratent le train pour Poudlard et partent en voiture par la voie des airs; on retrouve les professeurs habituels plus un nouveau Lockhart ridicule de fatuité et de suffisance; les seuls animaux fantastiques évoqués sont les les araignées de la forêt le phoenix de Dumbeldore et on parle beaucoup de serpents; pour sauver Ginny, Harry et Ron trouveront l'entrée de la chambre des secrets et Harry affrontera Voldemort réincarné en un souvenir d'ancien élève manipulant un serpent; cet épisode est donc un tournant dans l'épopée permettant de comprendre le début et laissant imaginer la fin; cette édition brochée non illustrée conviendra parfaitement aux collectionneurs; l'espagnol castillan est abordable avec un dictionnaire pour vérifications; un bon moyen de se mettre à cette langue pour de nombreux fans français qui connaissent déjà l'histoire par coeur
