Such a great product I purchased another!
To Update this review just wanted to let everyone know this product worked so well I purchased another for a friend and they are thrilled with it! Great product and beautiful design! We thought we would have to replace our shower head unit with one that came with an adjustable slide bar so my 4' 10" mother could reach the shower head if she needed to. This product saved us lots of money and was simple to install. It matches the finish of our shower fixtures perfectly and the suction holds strongly to the wall. No concerns about slipping. We are so glad we found it!

For once a solid well thought out shower attachment.
Very happy with this purchase. It's not the usual suction cup attachment that falls off the shower wall in the middle of the night. It's actually a vacuum cup and holds very well and the finish matched perfectly with the Ana Bath handheld shower set I purchased a year ago.

this was a waste of money for me
This will not stay an smooth tile wall. I hung my hand shower on it, it fell off the wall in the middle of the night. Put it back up without the shower head and it. Stayed for two days, then fell. Buy something that screws on the wall, this was a waste of money for me. The product looked well made just didn't work for me.

The hand shower holder has worked very well. It is very sturdy in holding our shower head and in over a months use has not deformed in any way I can tell, like some of the other shower head holders I had read about. There are two positions the head can be held in. My only complaint is the cost of shipping/handling, which is almost the price of the shower head itself.

upgraded review
11/7/16 update - i have upgraded my review from one star to four star because i cleaned up the bottom of the rubber suction cup with rubbing alcohol three months ago, and then reinstalled the unit on the tile wall. The holder has now remained in place for over three months and I am now satisfied with the product. Be sure to clean both the tiles and the suction cup to get a more secure adhesion. original post - I have used this item on a new glazed tile shower wall. It has fallen off the wall twice in two months even though we were not using it. The original post - suction membrane is made of a thick rubber like substance which may not be flexible enough to maintain a tight connection. Also, it seems to me that the membrane is not concave enough (deep enough) to allow enough suction to maintain a permanent seal. I have other suction cup shower items that have been installed for several months in other showers and are still maintaining a very strong connection to the walls.

Sturdy, useful, and dependable
Works great! So far the suction has strongly held, and there are no holes in the wall!

Good Handshower Holder
I added/connected a hand held shower piece to our rain style shower head and purchased this holder to keep hand held part attached on the tile wall. Well at first I thought it was made rather cheaply since I was expecting something metal but then i realized its better that it is plastic so that if it drops it won't damage the tub/shower floor. All in all it has a strong grip and has held on the wall for the entire time i've had it (ensure the suction cup is wet before activating).
