Neutrogena Beach Defense Sunscreen Stick SPF 50, 1.5 oz

We used this for a family of four during a month-long trip through Europe. Here is my honest feedback: Pros -Lasted the entire month with daily usage -Seemed to last all day without reapplication (no sunburns, despite 5+ miles of hiking daily) -Didn't sweat off -Went on gentle without having to inhale it (sprays) or smear it on (creams) -Goes on quickly and easily so the kids didn't mind it. Very, very nicely rolls onto the face and body -Small and easy to transport -Cost effective and long lasting Cons: -You can't tell that it's running low or out, until it's out. Just like roll-on deodorant. -Feels a little greasy on the skin on first application and only ever so slightly after My spouse and I agree that we will be using this product exclusively for travel and beach days going forward.

This is our go-to sunscreen and my family has not used any other brand since discovering it about 5 or 6 years ago. The scent is pleasant, light, and tropical. Application is quick and easy. It goes on clear (not white) and looks a little greasy at first, but that is actually a positive because it helps you quickly see spots you (or your child) missed. It soon absorbs cleanly and the oily feeling goes away after a few minutes. The sunscreen works really well. My family has very pale, sensitive skin with eczema and easily burns in the sun. It does not irritate our skin at all and provides great coverage. This stuff works very well for us on vacation in Florida and on Bahamas/Caribbean cruises. It fits easily in a small bag and doesn't take up much room. With it being a solid, there's no worry of leaking. I love that you can hand everyone a stick and they can do most of the application themselves. Then we turn around and get the hard to reach spots on each other. And all done with clean hands that aren't getting messy. I would be so sad if this sunscreen is ever discontinued. We have over a dozen sticks in our house/car/luggage at any given time.

The best thing is the ease of application. It smells good and works well. Great for travel, not so messy.

I keep buying this every summer for its ease of application! I’ve gotten others hooked on it too. It’s a little greasy but super effective, so worth it!

What I like about this product is that it goes on easy. You don’t have to wash your hands afterwards because you have suntan lotion all over them. I like to use this on my face because I’ve never had it drip into my eyes when I sweat where the other lotions end up stinging your eyes. It’s easy to apply on the grandkids too and my 2 year old thinks he is so cool cause he can hold it and put it on himself. Of course I have to add more after he is done but he is so happy he can put his own lotion on. It travels well and doesn’t have any smell to it.

Bought for traveling and walking around in the Nashville sun and I am so impressed! I did not get sunburnt and I am whiter than a ghost. It was easy to keep in my purse and reapply throughout the day. Even sweating and being sticky it stayed on. It also smells nice! I will be keeping this with me all summer.

Works like a charm, really great that it doesn't count against liquid allowance when traveling. Just remember to rub in... I didn't and 4 months later I still have these pale streaks on my shins where I applied. I burnt everywhere else and those spots stayed ultra pale. (hilarious now, not when it happened!!) Would love a 30 version of this!
