This is a superb product MADE IN USA!!!
It is rare for me to feel so compelled to submit a product review, but I recently used this MetroVac to dry my new car, and I am so thoroughly pleased with its performance that I wanted to let others know. My car has a ceramic coating, the first I've ever had, and I've been concerned - well, more like obsessed LOL - about its proper care and maintenance. After some hours researching on this new-fangled Internet thingy - the TV says everything on it is 100% true all the time - I found using a car dryer to minimize contact with the coated surface reduces the probability of marring, and several pro detailers recommended this product, among a short list of others. I was thrilled to discover this is made right here in the USA, and there is no shortage of great reviews on it. It exudes great quality from the moment you open the box and see MetroVac's slogan: "Deliberately made better in the USA." Equally impressive was how quickly and thoroughly it dried my car with no spotting and with no evil water left behind in the cracks and crevices - you know, the stuff that waits until you drive across the street to get a corny dog to drip out and ruin everything. Using a single 4HP motor did most of the job, including all of the detail work. I'm still getting used to its power, so I haven't yet tried the full two-motor 8HP at length, but it could blow the stink off a dead water buffalo from where they sell those corny dogs across the street. This is a true dryer, so it warms up the air to aid in the drying process, but it doesn't get so hot it'll harm delicate surfaces. I definitely recommend using hearing protection, but the machine itself isn't very loud; it's the sound of the air when it strikes and interacts with surfaces of different shapes, and that's mostly with the detail work when your ears are closer to the nozzle. Though it seems a little pricey, it is absolutely worth it for the AMERICAN MADE quality. I definitely recommend this dryer for your car. It did a beautiful job, and I am now looking into other products MetroVac produces.

Excellent Machine, and One of the Most Useful Pieces of Car Detailing Equipment
Let's not beat around the bush...this has to be one of the most useful car detailing tools out there. When you flip both switches, you know you're moving a good amount of air. The great thing too is after just a minute, the air is decently warm, which is a pleasant surprise given there's no heating element. The choice of material for the air nozzle is top notch. It's a durable feeling rubber, not hard plastic. It's not brittle, and it won't scratch your paint. The 30' hose makes moving around the car pretty easy, I couldn't imagine having to constantly pick up the Master Blaster to move around as you would with the 10' hose version. I can't say it's going to get every drop of water off the car, but it will get the water out from every crevice and off the windows. It gets things dry enough to where you only need one small towel to dry what little bits of water are still left on. The fact it gets water out from crevices and hard to reach spaces like inside metallic logos, trim, and rubber stripping is a huge time saver in of itself. Everything about this unit says "quality". The price is certainly not a "con" to this machine as some have pointed out. For how well it's made, and how well it works, I think it's priced fairly. It is pretty expensive? Sure. But it's priced just about at the upper limit of what I'd consider fair. I have zero regrets making the plunge to buy a Master Blaster, and I highly recommend spending the extra $50ish on the "Revolution" model.

Amazing blower!
The Air Force Master Blaster is simply amazing. I have long used a blow gun with my air compressor to do many cleaning duties, and between using a vacuum cleaner and the blow gun you could really get things clean. Then there are gas powered leaf blowers that we've seen used to blow the water off of cars and motorcycles. So when I first saw this 8 HP Master Blaster I instantly knew what it was capable of, but didn't know it even existed! While it is sold to blow dry cars and motorcycles, it can be used for so many more things. It does well as a blower for the driveway or garage, either carry it or get a shoulder strap. I use it after mowing the lawn to blow the clippings off of the mower deck, keeps the mower clean and looking new. Of course we use it to blow dry several motorcycles and cars, and for that it is excellent. Noise level isn't as bad as I thought it might be, so it is acceptable to me. But once you start to grasp what all it can do, it becomes even more valuable. I would suggest getting the 10 foot extension hose, nice to have, and for those complaining about the hose coming off of the blower, they likely have trouble with a screwdriver as that is a pretty basic concept of fitting the hose onto the blower as far as it will go and tightening, but not over tightening the clamp. To complain about that is to admit an inability to deal with many things mechanical...... All in all a good piece of equipment, versatile beyond what the manufacturer might realize. Think "big blow dryer" or "big blower" and you can use the air force to make many jobs easier. Drying animals, no problem. Drying or cleaning vehicles, easy. Moving dust and dirt, simple. Just remember eye protection, like safety glasses.

This is the best blower to dry a car on the market
So much better than the leaf blower. I have been using in 85+ deg temp and the hose/air does get hot. Not sure what it will do come cooler weather. I am short but it will still blow the water across the vehicle. Maybe just a couple dabs with a drying microfiber towel in a few places and that is it. It is some faster than a syn chemois. I love the no touch to preserve the sealant / wax finish. Tips are thick soft rubber so no marring the surface. You will need almost all 30ft of the hose on a family car like an Accord if it is mounted to the wall. Came ready to mount right out of the box. The air outlet needs a bead rolled on the end so the hose clamp doesn't have to be so tight to keep it from coming off especially when using in high heat temps. Look at a radiator, water pump, or heater core hose attachment. I know that would cost money but for what they charge for this setup I think they could afford it and make a great machine almost bulletproof. Secure the hose end designs too if that has not already been done. You have to have some pampered vehicles in the garage with very good paint to justify this for sure.

Very useful if you have a slick paint finish!
The master blaster air dryer is not bad. The vehicle needs to have a good slick coating of polish or ceramic coating to see the advantage of using an air dryer. The pressure is pretty good but more would probably be better. I find it very use in blowing all the water out of the seams of the car. It is really good on the wheels. In the end it doesn’t save a lot more time but makes the job easier. I use it to first blow the water off the vehicle as best as possible and then go back with a spritz or spray wax and soft microfiber towel because there will be a few areas of water spots remaining. After going back and drying my car the old fashioned way I have found the dryer to save a little on time but there is much less wiping of the car and less chances for scratches. The price is a bit expensive but the dryer is very useful as long as you have slick paint. Recommended!

Blows it All Away...Including My Expectations
I primarily bought this to blow dry my car after I wash it. Before I used a 2 HP pet dryer that I used for my dogs and I thought that was already pretty good when I used it for my car. However, after using my 2 HP dryer for awhile, it was taking me quite awhile to blow dry the whole car and figured that using that much electricty for that long wasn't any better than using towels. So I decided to purchase this instead and man, what an upgrade. The Master Blaster will make every nook and cranny bone dry in a snap. No more worries about marring the paint with towels or worry about water spots. This unit comes with two 4 HP motors, both can run independently or together at the same time for a total of 8 HP. It runs on 19 Amps, and generally most garages are wired for 20 Amps, so hopefully it shouldn't be a problem for anyone. It even ran on full power with no problem even though a bunch of different things were being powered by the same circuit. The steep price for this blower means this isn't really for everyone. You could probably dry you car as fast with a towel as you can blow dry it, the only difference is that this is more for OCD people who want their car completely dry and minimize any swirls and scratches that may result from drying with towels. If you really care how your car's paint will look, then this will be a terrific investment. If you just wash your car just for the sake of it being clean and don't wax it or anything, you're probably better off with just using towels.

Useful blower for drying car, floor mats or anything wet
Initially, I thought I overpaid for this blower before I began to use it. The first time I pulled it out was to dry car in driveway after it stopped raining. I like using this over my electric blower since you can do a more thorough job and it’s not so strong that it may knock the moldings off car like a leaf blower. I had the 30’ hose and it worked very well but I don’t think the warm air is much of a factor as air didn’t really feel warm, I guess it could remove some of the moisture if you use it on a damp day. I also used it with one motor on to dry my floor mats quick. I never realized how much water is on the mats when you soak them down and with this there is no need for a drying towel unless you want to apply a product . The roof is always tricky to dry, especially on my SUV. I’ll have to experiment with a step ladder to see if it helps me dry roof better. I could not get the roof completely dry but everywhere else was perfect. Especially the wheels, I mean super dry. It does a better job than leaf blower as it drys things completely. Might be the smaller hole at the end of the hose. I did use over ear headset style ear protection and the noise level was nothing. You do need the headset though. It’s too loud to use with both motors on and still enjoy it. I also used it to dry the landing on my basement steps to get in the basement. As it drys it also blows away dirt or whatever is sitting in the water. As I dried the car I also easily cleaned the leaves, dirt and dust from my driveway as well. This thing is not heavy it’s light enough to easily carry. I tossed the whole setup in the corner of my basement between the dryer and the furnace and the hose stays relatively neat. I may use the mounting hardware to hang it somewhere, the blower itself is small, the problem is I don’t want to disconnect the hose every time I use it and it is 30’ long so the blower you could put anywhere but the hose is big. Even coiled up it takes up some space. I’m looking forward to cleaning and drying my cars this spring and summer. I just had the paint corrected and a coating out on my 18 year old BMW and it looks great. This blower should make my life a lot easier as I can’t take it through a automatic car wash. Now my process will be to rinse the car, clean it with a rinse less car soap, dry it with the blower and I’m done. With the coating I can’t use anything but a spray on product. No wax required. When your paint is in good shape and you have a new clean set of wheels the car almost feels like new.

This product is a BUST !!!
I was very excited about the prospect of drying my newly purchased classic car - touchless. Found this product that appeared to have great reviews online so i decided to go with this one over Adams Air Cannon. Strike 1 - Out of the box the adapters and fittings are smaller than the hose provided so virtually useless without the need to go to a hardware store and try to find something to make a transition. Strike 2 - The hose that inserts over the blower couples over the male outlet of the blower. Basically just push it over. After about 2 min of use the hose gets warm and expands and pops off the blower. Expect walking back to the blower every 2 min or less to reinsert. Or make another trip to hardware store and grab a hose clamp. Strike 3 - The nozzle at the user end also pushes in. After about 6 min that warmed up expanded and shot into my thorny bushes where I had to stop from drying my car and dive in trying to find it. I guess it was good it was pointed away from the car otherwise can't imagine what damage could have been if it thrusted towards the car. The disappointing part about all this is that the unit actually dries really well when and these are quality control issues that should have easily been caught and addressed. I'll be returning this junk...
