I love noodles. I will eat anything with noodles. Lo mein, pho and spaghetti are my weakness. So I thought why not search for a low calorie noodles so I can still satisfy my cravings and still do my high protein diet.. Tried to cook it for dinner today.. Drained and washed the noodles with cold water Microwave for 1 minute. Wash with cold water Microwave for 1 minute Wash with cold water Put the left over beef steak in a pan, added the noodles, added some cayenne pepper and garlic seasoning. Cook in mediun heat for a minute. Let it sit for 30 seconds.. My mom tried it and she love it! Do you even know what that means when my mom will say the food is good? That means it's really good. Im excited to try new recipes!! Edit: 2nd pack Brought it with me for lunch at work.. We had some left over stir fry shrimp with vegetables but it's not enough for a meal for one person. So I decided to add the noodles and added some cayenne pepper to it... I did the same thing with the noodle... wash, microwave, wash, microwave, wash then cooked it with the left over.. Added an egg for my extra calorie and protein. The noodles taste like rice noodles. T_T it's so delicious! No fishy smell. It's not rubbery. It tastes and feel like the regular rice noodles.

Takes a little getting used too. We don't follow the instructions. Rinse in cold water. Don't freak out by smell. Yes, they are supposed to smell that way. Dry off with paper towel and heat in skillet for about five minutes or longer. Keep moving them around. Don't get impatient and remove them too soon. They get better the longer you heat them. Can make Asian sauces, add chicken, beef etc. Also have used with meat sauce. Now understand, this stuff will NOT taste just like pasta. Consistence is similar but NOT THE SAME. Give them a chance and try a few times. Likely, you are heading down this path because you are trying to lose weight or perhaps lower blood sugar. This gives you a good option to eliminate carb's.

To each its own, but I won't be buying this product again. It comes in a liquid that smells really funny (fishy). You are supposed to wash it and then dry it on a pan. I've done the process and the end result is actually ok (4/10... 5/10 if you add a lot of parmesan cheese). But the whole process is gross. It doesnt feel wholesome at all. I am going to stick with spiraling from now on.

If you rinse the noodles in hot water for about 5 minutes, the smell is gone. Then into a hot cast iron pan for about 10 more minutes to dry them out a bit. They still are somewhat rubbery, but what do you expect for no carb? I like to toss mine with peanut sauce and scallions, and they do alright with soy sauce, stir fried veggies, tofu, etc. They are very expensive, though, as it takes three packages to make a good sized meal, which is $10 just for the noodles themselves.

What! These are AWESOME! In short - the liquid in the package smells fishy, yes. But, you dump that out and then I didn't really smell a fishy residue at all. The fishy smell reminded me of when my mom used to buy fresh fish and prep it and clean squid in the sink...so, you'd have to put your head right in the sink to be offended by it. But then again, I'm Spanish - I grew up on fresh fish! I followed the instructions (spaghetti) exactly - rinse, then boil, then rinse. The only thing is that the 2nd rinse made my noodles cold and I had already added some Scarpetta vodka sauce and fresh cherry tomatoes. So, I put it in the microwave for 1.5 minutes and it was still delicious! The noodles intack! Woo hooo! I am doing the 5:2 diet so LOVE, LOVE these on my fasting days. They pick up the flavor of anything and I cannot believe they are good for you. Celiac sufferers - enjoy!!!

I had high hopes for these noodles but they just seem kind of gross. First, the noodles have a weird smell but it leaves after you wash them off---I followed the directions on the bags for cooking them but they simply taste sort of funny. I am not a great cook so maybe its me which is the reason i gave it three stars instead of 1. I plan on searching YouTube for cooking ideas and possibly a different way to prepare the noodles.

I am a former Chicago runway model, 5'-10" 116 LBS, have had konjac-style noodles before for an uber low calorie filler food but they were very strong and smelly out of the bag - very off-putting. The first brand I ordered on Amazon were just like that too, but then I saw these had even LOWER cals and carbs so tried them and they ARE SO FAR SUPERIOR to others I have had. Their size and consistency is extremely palatable and they have absolutely NO smell, strong or otherwise. They have no aroma whatsoever which was so shocking to me as my experience was otherwise. The other strong-smelling noodles I would have to rinse with boiling water, then lots of cool water before using and these, I just cut open the package, pour them into a strainer, rinse with cool water, pat dry on paper towels so they better absorb flavors of the broth I make (low sodium chicken bouillon, with tumeric and black pepper), slide them into the broth and simmer for 5 - 7 minutes then enjoy over instant whipped potatoes. They have NO flavor out of the bag so you have to cook what you like into them. It's really shocking that these had no aroma out of the bag and they really have NONE, which is an exception to the other brands that can be quite strong and smelly. NOT appetizing-the other brands. I am so thrilled with these!!
