Just got this case so if anything changes my mind I’ll update accordingly, but out of the package it looks good and feels good. It fits comfortably in my hand for texting with both thumbs (iPhone 17 pro max for size). I like that the screen protector is part of the case, not stuck on separately. The waterproofing is a nice feature I’ve not tested yet and hopefully won’t anytime soon. Additionally I like the metal and rubber construction, with actual mini bolts instead of just snapping plastic together. I can be clumsy, I do a lot of home repair and woodwork, so I need a durable case and I think this may be the best one I’ve tried yet.

So I am one of the most accident prone people I know when it comes to cell phones. I literally drop my phone at least once a week, usually from it being in my lap and I get up and it drops to the floor. I've been purchasing Otter boxes for years up until I decided I wanted waterproof. The last couple cases I got were waterproof, but it wasn't long before I was dealing with a trouble using the touch screen, plus the reception quality would drop significantly. Also, the rubber 'plugs' would always eventually break off or be loose, therefore no longer truly waterproof. A few months ago I decided to move back to Florida and knew I'd be on the water a lot, so I did a lot of research and decided on this Beasyjoy Case for my iPhone 8 Plus. Received the package which was impeccably packed, with the tools included. I hadn't realized that there would be screws involved, which requires a special tool, so I was a little hesitant, because there wasn't going to be an easy way to pop out the phone if I needed to for some reason. You have to unscrew all the screws, place your phone inside, and make sure you line it up right before screwing back together or the switch on the side for silent mode won't work. I was impressed with the quality of all the materials, and particularly impressed with the fact it is literally made with a heavy metal and durable rubber. This is NOT a lightweight case (I can't wear this in my back pocket unless I have a belt on to keep my pants up properly, LOL). But if you want quality protection at a reasonable price, you have to have quality material. It took less than 6 hours for me to find out if it would survive a fall, because I dropped it on CONCRETE where it bounced twice and sounded awful. Both my uncle and I cringed when it dropped, and we fully expected a cracked screen just from how hard it hit the concrete. Alas, my woes were for naught! The paint was pretty scuffed in two spots, but my phone was pristine! Talk out durable!! I couldn't have cared less about the paint, because I didn't buy the case to look pretty, I bought it to protect my ridiculously expensive smart phone, and it absolutely did exactly that. The rubber plug at power port can be a bit of a pain to pull out for charging, but that's perfectly fine with me because it means it's actually plugging and sealing the phone from moisture. I have dropped it a couple more times since my purchase, and yep, held up like a champ. I also love how the rubber backside helps keep it from sliding around, there's also a slot where you can loop through the strap they provide, and I love the bright yellow so that it's easier to find if I drop it in the water or wherever. The touch screen works perfect! I don’t have a screen protector on the phone itself, so I think that is helping. I also made sure my phone was thoroughly clean before putting the case on it. Now it does muffle the sound a little bit, and WiFi range is shorter, but I’m a realist and understand physics. You simply can’t expect a case to be waterproof and not end up muffling the sound or range a bit. So I simply use the Bluetooth to listen to music via headphones or my sound bar.

Got this for my daughter cause she’s always dropping her phone. Easy to install. Worth the money. Great screen protection.

Otterbox defenders for years. They bug the crap out of me though because they're too thick to work with most iPhone mounts and they're just really very bulky. They've certainly saved my phone a number of times I just thought at this point I might look for a substitute that has more positive features. This particular phone cover is advertised as water resistant I never plan on dropping My phone, but I find in the bathroom evitable ways it ends up you know where. Women's clothing is much less likely to have decent pockets. My only hope is that it goes before and not after. The seals two sides of the phone keys are actually sealed tight with screws. The one thing I can say for them is that they know and understand their customer. Flakier than the average girl I'm so very happy to see some extra screws in case some jump out of the phone and commit suicide. There is a special tiny screwdriver that I got with it and of course the extra screws. I've had this a few weeks now and first of all it's bright red so that I can have an easier time trying to find it that has cut down some on the amount of times I have to get on my ipad and have it turn the alert on my phone. In my opinion this is not quite as bulky as the OtterBox defender, but the security it's been sealed with the screws and the amount of rubber that is used all the way around the edges makes me feel that the amount of protection is pretty similar. I like the way it feels in my hand if you have little hands it might not feel as comfortable. The screen shows through the protective glass layer quite well without distortion. This seems much more sturdy and at least competitive with the OtterBox. I can't see if one is better than the other. I can say this one is thinner and much more likely to fit into cradles and other accessories. I have a lot of arthritis in my hand so I tend to drop my phone about 16 times a day. So far so good. I recommend it, and I think I would probably buy it again. I have an iPhone 7 plus. And it works really well for me.

Broke apart first week at work it vibrates with your phones audio and makes any phone call on speaker impossible to hear you. Also it makes your touch screen hard to use.

Great case thick and sturdy only down fall of it being water proof is that you need to use your phones sound volume and sound on full blast to hear any calls and texts coming in, also watching videos you almost need to have it at full blast to hear anything. Other than that it’s a great fit looks good color is exactly what is said it would be, the screen protector is nice and easy to clean and easy to install the case on your phone.

This is an outstanding phone case. I did watch someone else’s video to help me figure out what I needed to do. It unscrewed. There is an Allen wrench and also a regular screwdriver. I didn’t notice the regular screwdriver until after I had already used the Allen wrench, which is a little more tedious. The screwdriver is great. It’s located in the box at the bottom. It is a very handy screwdriver to keep even long after this filling case is gone. Anyway, I did have to figure out how to make sure I put it together so that the mute button on the left could be Tod on and off. Once I did that, I only had to take it apart once because I did not make sure that the screen was completely wiped, and so there was a piece of lint. But this is solid with the rubberized texture around the edges, which is what I specifically wanted. I like the silver color. Around the front of the phone and part of the back I have not had any issues at all with the touchscreen since putting this case on that has its own screen protector as part of it. I definitely would recommend this phone case.

They’re the best heavy duty phone case ever !!!! It’s good quality if you work in construction this one is the best and the one and only for protection of your phone

In fact I'd like to start off funny I may be a little jealous of it leaks in water faster than the speed of me getting hard at less than 30 seconds as opposed to the 30 minutes of waterproof testing it claimed to have passed in the installation manual lol. If my satisfaction is your success like you said in the manual then you guys have completely failed.
