This stuff is amazing.My hair is softer and my curls are more defined ,less frizz! After washing my hair I use the cream first .Then I use the mouse.However,I do use a deep conditioner or hair mask every time I wash which is 1-2× per week.You must use both or you won't get the same results.In between washing I just lightly rewet my hair and apply both products.I let my hair air dry also .The smell is amazing! My hair is definitely easier to manage! I am sold on these two items and I want to try their other products as well 😊

First of all, the stuff smells AMAZING! I also love that. Even if I use a ton of product, my hair doesn’t feel crispy afterwards. It keeps it softness and curls so well.

My sister-in-law who uses on my son’s hair and it worked. Other curl products did not actually keep his hair curly like this one does it’s not greasy and the curl definition is wonderful. The smell is very nice.

The moose is okay. I don’t think I’ll purchase it again but I will finish the bottle. I have a volume foam by the cake-brand. And wear it like crazy. Almost daily because it’s weightless. I have fine, thin, wavy hair and this curl moose can make my hair feel junky. At my last hair apt the women accused me of overly using protein products and was admit I have build up. 🙄 I just used too much of the moose that morning. I have to be very careful to only get a small amount out of the container. I use it when I curl/wrap my hair at night; the product helps the curls hold the next day and doesn’t make my hair crunchy, and when I want wave hair after a shower. I do like the smell. A lot of curly/wavy hair products have a smell that sticks all day, often tropical or chemical smelling and overwhelming. This is a slight lemon sent and it doesn’t have a strong smell and jack up my sensory issues.

Love the results, curl hold and so much less frizz! The smell is so good and you don’t need alot of product to get the job done. Highly recommend

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been this happy with a mousse. I decided to try the Cake Beauty Curl Whip because my daughter uses their hairspray and loves it—and I’m so glad I did. First of all, the smell is absolutely divine. It’s like a light, sweet lemon dessert scent, but not overpowering at all. I actually look forward to using it just for that! What really surprised me is how well it works on my fine gray hair. Most mousses leave my hair feeling crunchy or stiff, but this one is the complete opposite. It gives my hair body and fullness while still feeling soft and natural. No crunch, no stickiness—just light, bouncy volume. My hair looks fuller and healthier, and it holds without feeling heavy. I will definitely be buying this again!

I purchased the Cake Beauty Whipped Curl Defining & Volumizing Mousse in September of 2024. I'm still working on the same bottle now in July of 2025. I was very excited to try this mousse as reviews online were glowing. I felt a little disappointed though. I have long wavy hair that easily gets weighed down. I need products that will reduce frizz and give hold so my curls and waves can shine through. This mousse did give light to medium hold, have a great sweet lemon scent (like lemon pie), and define my natural curls some. However my problem is everything I use this my hair gets so dry and tangled by the end of the day. If I try to diffuser with this in my hair the same happens. I've tried layering with a curl cream and ended up with stringy stretched out curls. I've tried light leave ins underneath, more water, less water, etc but always get the same result. By day two my hair is almost matted in the back and my ends are super dry. This hasn't happened with other mousse like herbal essence or garnier fructis (which you would expect since these have alcohol in them). I also can't put this mousse near my scalp for volume because it irritates my skin so much. It is very sticky, after I apply to my hair I have to wash my hands with soap and scrubbing to get the residue off. I imagine this would cause buildup on the scalp. Overall I regret buying this because it doesn't work for what I want for my hair. Looking at other people's photo reviews, some of the positive reviews the hair looks stringy and buildup-y to me so maybe it's just a preference thing. Originally, I bought this for heatless curls like socks curls or those foam rollers curls but even for that I didn't love it. Also random side note- the bottle is really tall so I had to store it sideways on my shelf and it started to leak a brown liquid that stained some of my items stored around it.

This is excellent mousse. Gives my heavy, wavy hair a little extra curl. You only need a tiny bit of it, so a can will last a long time. Will purchase again.

The scent is one of my favourite things about it—it smells absolutely amazing without being overpowering. The mousse gives good hold and helps keep curls defined while reducing frizz. It adds structure without making the hair feel crunchy or stiff, and my curls still have movement and bounce. I’ve found it works especially well when refreshing curls or styling after wetting the hair. El mejor mousse para cabello rizado, lo amo!!! Es súper suave pero con muy buena fijación. Deja el pelo hermoso y sedoso y además tiene un aroma exquisito. Lo compraré una y mil veces más!!!

Prefect for medium / short hair. But if you have a long/very long hair like mine, hair volume won't last for hours, maybe 2 hours max. I love it anyway.
