Solid construction and seems to be very resistant to oxidation. Does not add any strange flavors. Fits perfectly in a standard 1L wide-mouth mason jar.

i'm actually using this for my kubota bx23s tractor as a debris filter right in my fuel tank lid. it is a perfect fit and prevents things from accidentally falling into the fuel tank and clogging up the fuel outlet. ask me how I know that can happen!?!?! very pleased with this item.

So, pros and cons. This filter fits perfectly in a wide mouth quart jar. The quality is great. It cleans easily and makes excellent cold brew. The two-piece canning jar lid fits over the filter. The top of the filter is slightly larger than the jar rim so you can easily pull the filter out of the jar. The only con is that the lid doesn't seal tightly with the filter in place so if it gets tipped it will leak, for me this is not an issue. I make 4 quarts of cold brew a week for my husband. I can use pretty much any grind in the filter. It is awesome!
