This Jungle Formula Maximum Strength spray does exactly what it says — it’s 50% DEET, so it’s very effective at keeping all the little critters away. It doesn’t smell great, but that’s a small price to pay for such strong protection. It’s okay on the skin, though it can be a bit drying if used frequently, so I’d recommend applying a bit of moisturizer afterward. The 125ml size is good — it lasted us a couple of weeks for two people with regular use, which feels reasonable. Overall, if you want reliable, maximum-strength insect protection, this does the job very well.

Firstly, mosquitoes love me! Not only do I get bitten more than anyone else, I also get a reaction and end up looking a mess. Horrible big marks everywhere. They basically ruin my holiday, up until now. Went to Thailand last year and suffered really bad. Took the usual precautions but they kept biting. Tried the local tiger balm stuff, still biting and eventually found out the only thing that worked was deet based. Came prepared this year with three cans of jungle formula and it worked!!! Seems to work for a long time but I was reapplying after swimming. No problems in the evening even when sitting outside in the bars and restaurants. Smells of “chemicals “ but it’s not too bad and soon disappears. Doesn’t seem to mark clothes even though it is a bit oily. Most importantly though, it works and stops the awful side effects that come with mozzie bites Would definitely recommend for fellow sufferers.

My only minor gripe is the strong scent, which fades after a while but can be a bit intense initially. Overall, a reliable and effective repellent that I highly recommend.

Honestly, what an invention. I spent two weeks in Sri Lanka and was a bit concerned about Dengue fever and all the issues tourists face in remote places because of mosquitos - I used Jungle Spray religiously twice a day and in two weeks got ZERO bites. I stayed in multiple locations, many of which didn’t even have a mosquito net - Even when I was wandering in the literal Jungle those bad boys were terrified of me. Mosquitoes might need to rethink their strategy because with this genius product on the market their time is almost certainly up. Also - the roll on version of this is also really effective. I won’t be going on holiday without Jungle Formula ever again

I was very ill after getting mosquito bites in Greece a few years ago. Obviously not wanting to repeat that awful episode but still wanting to travel.. I needed to protect myself the best I could. This jungle formula maximum strength gives fabulous protection. I sprayed on my lower legs & arms in the evening. I rubbed in after spraying it didn't feel sticky. It does smell a bit when applying ...I applied on my balcony! But the smell soon dies away once spray has dried. It smells ok to be honest. I had no bites ( i saw others with lots!) Contains 50% deet. ( The strength recommended by WHO) I have eczema but it did not irritate my skin. Providing up to9 hours protection. In a handy size spray. Easy to use. A definate must have for mosquitos !

This is somewhat effective coming from someone who is loved by mosquitoes. I was not bitten as much .
