Amazing for the price
Ran these MTX dual 12s in my 2006 Mustang powered by an Alpine S A60M and they hit hard for the price. Good low end punch without sounding muddy, and they handled power well as long as they were tuned correctly. I’ve since moved them over to my Silverado with a different amp and they’re still going strong. For a budget friendly setup they perform really well and hold up over time. Definitely a solid option if you want strong bass without spending a ton.

Awesome subs
This easily the smartest and best way I have ever spent 185 bucks! I have a 1500 watt amp and the subs knockkkkkk. Your not finding dbl 12s for anything near this price that hit like these do! I highly advise ppl to buy these but just make sure you have the right amp and tune your amp accordingly

SOUNDS RAD
For the price these hit hard. I was skeptical cause of the cheap price but they are amazing. I got lucky, I caught these and the boss amp/wiring kit on a really good sale. I got everything needed for $350 then went to Best Buy where they installed them THE SAME DAY I got them for $149. So from start to finish $600 for everything done, is nuts. Highly recommend. If your dash kit is too expensive or you don’t have the money for a head unit, just buy a Line Output Converter which allows you to connect your subs and amp to your stock radio. That’s what I did, and I use a Bluetooth transmitter and they hit hard and sound good. If you’re on a budget then go with these and the boss amp, and boss wiring kit. Call your local Best Buy set up appointment and boom. DONE

Quality for the $$
I just hooked these up in my Dodge Magnum. Wow !! Huge difference from the 6” Bazooka tube I had. These things provide serious punch and boom for the money. Nice quality box and build. Still breaking them in but so far, so loud !! 👌🤘

CHECK WIRING!!!!!
I won't take anything away from these subs. The package is a good deal and the subs were pretty good. HOWEVER, there are a couple things you need to know if you don't already. What REALLY matters is what the RMS wattage is of your amp and subs and to properly match them to get the most out of both the amp and subs. The "1200 watts" listed in the title means nothing, same with your amp. What you want to look for is the RMS wattage. Individually these subs are 4 ohm subs at 200 watts RMS each, which is fine. They advertise that the subs are wired inside the box (parallel) so that the final impedence is 400 watts RMS at 2 ohms. Which is exactly what you would get wiring them in parallel. I have a mono block amp, one channel, that pushes 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms, which is a good match for these subs. Just don't crank up the gain too far and you can push the subs to the max. UNFORTUNATELY, these subs started to go after about two weeks. They are in my son's car and I attributed the failure to him jacking the amp gain up too high, which he said he didn't. So, we bought another pair of higher RMS rated subs to throw in the box. Popped open the box and the original subs were NOT WIRED IN PARALLEL !!! They were wired in the standard fashion resulting in 4 ohms at 200 watts RMS final. If you buy these, CHECK THE WIRING. There is enough wire in the box to wire them properly. Hope this helps. 5 stars for the package and price, 4 stars for wrong wiring in the box.

Clean, Powerful
Just got them today. They hit very clean and hard without using bass boost. I was not expecting them to sound this good. Its also more compact than I thought, which is great since they still hit plenty hard for their size. Very happy with purchase.

Awesome sealed enclosure 12's!
Installed these with a Stinger 700watt monoblock amp into the back a W210 Mercedes Wagon and they sound awesome for the price (or any price to be honest) Yea, ported boxes make more bass this is true, but sometimes I do not like overbass to the point it drowns everything else out so these fit the 'crisp bass' need perfectly! I ended up buying these along with a single 12" in a ported box with the intention of only keeping one, and so far these are in the lead. For electronic music or even metal with tight bass, these absolutely round out the system perfectly. I am not even fully broken in on these yet and they are meeting my needs wonderfully. A few decades ago a setup like this would have cost x4 the price easily, sometimes I think we take for granted how nice of a car audio system you can build today on a budget. Only downfall to them to be honest for me is the speaker ports are on the back, so when I set them to fire upright as I like to do in a wagon, you have to be careful how you place them as to not pull the speaker wires out. 9/10 Overall 10/10 Value

Pretty good

A real banger that performs perfectly and beyond expectations with a good amplifier. I'm running mine with a Kicker Amp pushing 1000 watts RMS and the subs handle the power like a boss!
