Nice Product, doesn't work with SONY ZV-1
This is a well-made product. The mount has two sides, one size 2-3" and the other 4-5". While it takes over the camera cold shoe, it has a bar that creates a couple extra cold shoe mounts (e.g. for a cold shoe microphone). As shown in the pictures, it is made to fit the top of camera hot shoe and then extend forwards several inches. It does not work with a Sony ZV-1, because the top of the camera is very shallow and the GLIDE protrudes far into the field of view.Although not billed as teleprompters, there are much simpler products that mount a phone directly on a cold shoe, and those could probably work as simple teleprompters. I wasn't able to use this but I expect the line of sight feeling will work best if you are farther back from the camera and then use a little telephoto for framing.
