This product, work s pretty good

I have been using this product on our personal shredder for years. I am fully convinced this Fellows Powershred Performance Shedder Oil is the primary reason our shredder still works like new. I squirt the oil directly in the slot where the paper goes while it is running and I’ve also applied oil to paper and the shredded it. The oil is not thick, it’s the similar to the consistency of cooking oil. I usually oil the shredder every 2-3 weeks. All I know is it works and I highly recommend it.

Worked well for the machine.

This is an easy to use and useful item to have around the office if you work a lot of shredders. It is a universal oil that works with any brand and any model, as long as that model is allowed to make use of such oils. That last part is very important since some models do not allow the use of oils, forcing you to have to use the more expensive sheets that you have to run through the shredder. The sheets work well at times, but nothing works better than pure oil being squirted where it is needed best. Sadly, some shredder units are sealed shut to the point that there is no way to get the oil directly to where it needs. These models are generally marked with an icon on the top face of the shredder that looks like a bottle of oil with a line drawn through it (where the icons show the does and don'ts of the model. However, if you have a model that allows for direct oil use, this is one of the best ones you can get your hands on. It will last a long time if you store it right and with the cap on, and works with any (oil-able) model. What I love most about it is it's a third of the price you pay at Staples! I needed to order some for my work and before I thought to check Amazon, I paid over thirty bucks for this at Staples. I decided to get some for my home schredder, and lo and behold - Amazon has it for super cheap in the large size. Great purchase!
