Nice Packs Reusable Dry Ice Packs for Cooler & Lunch Boxes, 120 Cells

Super pleased with this product. I wanted an alternative to actual dry ice and after reading the reviews I went ahead and purchased the large packs. I followed instructions of getting insulations to insert into my cooler and instructions upon receiving the dry ice packs. Simple. Easy. Reusable after one use. Literally lit them back into the freezer after one use. I wanted to bring frozen ice pops for horses to a horse show in 100 degrees and humidity weather to cool the horses off after riding. This product works 100% if you park in a shaded areas and crack your windows. The frozen popsicles stayed 100% frozen for 5 hours before we gave them to the horses. The next day I kept my car in the sun with windows up on another 100 degree day. After 8 hours they dido thaw ever so slightly. Still super pleased with the fit, size, and coldness of these packs. They work! Now to see if the versatility of these dry ice packs will keep over night this weekend for frozen treats the next day.

These dry ice packs are easy to absorb water is less than 3 minutes, then freeze overnight, for trip the next day. After 10 hour trip, they were still hard and cold. Very good product that can be reused more than once. My second time buying them.

I purchased these to keep homemade skincare products cool during shipping. The directions on the package were clear, however the cells are very close together and difficult to cut apart. I lost a few of the cells when cutting them apart. The size of the individual cells work well for my needs. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to allow more space between individual cells on the sheets.

Brace yourselves...long review ahead. I used these cold packs, in combination with some styrofoam boxes, to mail homemade hot chocolate bombs that were made with ganache (aka milk aka perishable) overseas to the UK and to Trinidad (yeah in the Caribbean...I'm crazy, I know). But let me tell you these babies kept the items cold! Both items were picked up on a Saturday and were set to arrive on the following Tuesday. The one going to the UK I was less worried about because it was going from New England to the UK in December. That one arrived with the packs melted but still cold! I was super happy about that. But where they really shone was in the second shipment to Trinidad. Storytime: So if any of you know what the weather is like in the Caribbean, you understand how concerned I was that the hot chocolate bombs would arrive in a melted, spoiled-milk mess. So I packaged it up as best I could, said a prayer and had the carrier pick it up on a Saturday at midday. The package sat in holding all weekend, got transferred to Puerto Rico on Monday and then sat there for a further 2 days. Tuesday rolls around and it's still in PR, so now I'm freaking out. It finally gets transferred to Trinidad on Wednesday and sits there for a further 24 hours...in 80-90 degree heat *cue dismay*. It FINALLY gets delivered on Thursday morning a full 5 days after initial shipment and guess what. The cold packs and the hot chocolate bombs were still cool! Mind blown...these things are phenomenal y'all. I promise you...it's money well spent. Ok I'm done. Getting off my soapbox now cuz they're not paying me for this review. But seriously...5 stars. Product worked for its intended use. Be mindful that you must soak the product for the gel to activate and inflate so to speak. My only complaint is there was no indication in the instructions to completely dry the packets after soaking before placing into freezer. You MUST completely dry the packets' exterior if you are going to stack them in the freezer to get cold. If you do not do so, any remaining water on the exterior of the packets will ice up and make the stacked packets stuck to each other. If they get stuck and you attempt to separate the packets, the thin paper/plastic lining will tear and the gel interior will leak, making using the packets unsafe. Please be aware.

What an invention. Easy to use and reuse. I only used about 3 sheets in my cooler on a 6 hour drive and did not melt 1 bit. Out cold items stayed very cold but the frozen items started to thaw just a bit which I expect. I don't doubt at all that they might probably last an entire day or two keeping your items very cold in nice cooler. I do believe it also depends on the cooler you have. The one we have is insulated. I love these so much. We never have to buy ice for trips again. Just put in freezer for next trip. Keep the fabric part against the plastic when in freezer or cooler to avoid tearing any of them.

These work great! Read instructions and if you don’t want all of them as large as they get make some small ones.Kept my food cold for over two days!

I bought these because I was staying in an apartment well on vacation and the Caribbean. My partner and I always make snacks and food to carry to the beach with us. These travelled on the airplane with no problems. As soon as we got to the apartment, I soaked them in the sink until they were all puffed up and placed them in the freezer. Within six hours, they were frozen solid. I like the fact that they are bendable And you have the opportunity to cut them smaller if need be. Paired with a good quality cooler bag (we put three sheets) and it lasted us the whole day in 35°C - 40°C without any issues.
