This is a great eyeliner pen I have used for some time. I particularly love the bronze brown color, it’s really pretty with my brown eyes that have gold accents in them. This eyeliner generally does not smudge. I have wet, oily eyelids and so I reinforce all eyeliners with a powder coat to set in place for good and this doesn’t smudge. It applies super easily too, has a nice variety of colors available for anyone. The one thing I would change would be not having to sharpen a pencil. I personally think it wastes so much product and you can never keep the sharpener clean. Still, overall, my favorite eyeliner out there.

I’ve been very impressed with this eyeliner pencil. It glides on smoothly without tugging or pulling on the delicate skin around my eyes, making application quick and easy. The color goes on evenly and provides great definition. What I love most is how long-lasting it is. Once applied, it stays put throughout the day without smudging or fading, and I rarely need any touch-ups. Even after a full day of wear, it still looks fresh. If you’re looking for an eyeliner that is easy to apply, comfortable to wear, and truly long-lasting, this is an excellent choice. I will definitely continue purchasing it.

So when I first bought this eyeliner pencil and it came brand new, nice and sharpened and ready to use, it worked great. It went on smooth, lasted all day, and was smudge proof. However, when it came to be time to sharpen it again, that's where I started having trouble. It would break everytime I tried to sharpen it. So then I ordered the L'Oreal sharpener which is supposedly made just for this eyeliner. But when using it, the pencil continued to break! I also tried putting it in the freezer and then sharpening it....still broke, ugh! So I was about to give up on this eyeliner, even though it went on so nice when it was new. Well I happened to order this: "Makeup Sharpener by Revlon for Eyeliner, Lip Liner, and More! Universal Sharpener for All Wooden & Plastic Pencil Sizes" to use for my lip pencil . When it came I thought, hey, why not give the L'Oreal pencil another try and try sharpening it with this. Yes, it worked, and continues to work! So in the end, (once I found the right sharpener) yes, I love this eyeliner!

I bought this specifically for tight lining my upper lids. I have very fair eyelashes and wear brown mascara. I still struggled with my eyes looking how I wanted them to. Bought this eyeliner on a whim to try the tight lining and it is exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Smooth application, beautiful rich brown color. I took one star off because I need to reapply after a couple of hours because it will wear off in spots, making my lashes look weird. I wish it would stay out longer.

Totally waterproof!! This goes on and stays on great!! This is the best eyeliner I've found at staying in place and working with my lack of artistic talent. Caveat: once the original factory sharpened point is hone, you'll have to grind half the pencil to sharpen. This is frustrating and makes it more expensive than the price makes it seem.

I really like the color a lot. I like the ease of how it goes on and it lasts a few hours. But it's easily used up in one application. It has to be sharpened every time. I do not like the fact that it is too soft and breaks off easily in my pencil sharpener. The pencil itself did not last long at all and was used up really fast. It would be great if they could make it a roll-up eyeliner instead.

TIGHTLINE PROCEDURE: applied, then opened eyes wide with little blinking for 1 minute. COLOR: very nice, deep purple (no sparkle or metallic tinges). The color rivaled but wasn't as rich as Urban Decay 24/7. (But UD smudged on my hooded, extremely oily eyes & disappeared by the end of the day.) NO SMUDGING: woo hoooo! No smudging on top or below eyes throughout the day. Some fading, but not marked. I don't ever re-apply so more than enough color left to make me happy. REMOVAL: with Neutrogena Oil-Free Makeup Remover on a cotton pad, I gently press it on my eyelid & then with the pad, roll my upper lid just ever so slightly & keep the pad on the tightlined area for a few seconds. After, I wait 20-30 seconds, and then swipe several times with the pad again. This removes all or most of the liner. I wouldn't qualify this as an easy to remove liner, but it's easy enough given the all-day wear. Also, for perspective, I do not wear mascara. Lastly, I don't wear contacts so I can't speak to whether this liner would cause irritation. DEFINITELY HG! I'm a relative minimalist with makeup. 5-10 minutes at most with SPF, pressed powder, loose powder, lite blush, eyebrows, & tightline liner. Because of its outstanding color & all-day staying power (into 9-10 pm), it's easily become my HG liner!

Great old stand-by eyeliner. Deep black and easy to apply. Sometimes might smear if worn 8 hours or so. Sharpener must be improved so as to sharpen lead without using much of product

Beautiful colour, long wear time, no smudging, no raccoon eyes after 10+ hours. Needs a good sharpener as the wood is hard. I will definitely buy this again rather than spending $20+ for a Lise watier metallic brown pencil (not retractable either) which doesn't last as long and smudges by the end of the day. I wish there would be more metallic colours like this one.
