SN5107 Amplified Additional Handset with Big Buttons, Large Display & 50dB Audio Assist for SN5127 & SN5147 Senior Phones

Omg my dad can actually hear on this thing! It was so hard to have a conversation with him. Kind of heartbreaking how hearing loss can hinder connecting to people when you need connection the most in your final years. I wish I had gotten this for him sooner!

Bought this system for my mom who is nearly blind and hard of hearing. She loves the amplification on it. She didn’t realize at first that it was announcing the caller id, but once she heard it, she loves that, too. It’s much easier to talk to her with this set, although she doesn’t fully use all the features because of her vision.

We bought this phone with extra handsets. We are very happy with it! It has large buttons, a hearing booster and the base has 4 speed dial areas that can have pictures of the contact person. This makes it so easy for visual and hearing issues. I also LOVE the smart call blocker! I clear 15-20 calls a day that never rang through because they were "unknown" or "unavailable." That is a true blessing! Downside: The batteries seem to get low often. When that happens, the display gets a little weird. It shows full charge but I pull the batteries and put them back in and it shows low battery. It resets the display at that point. I like the product enough to keep it anyway.

We are having if issues with the hand held cordless phone. We have to unplug and wait a few minutes for it to reset itself.

I initially thought this phone was a good option, but it quickly proved to be a subpar product. Despite being tech-savvy, I experienced several issues: - The portable phones that come with the main phone stopped syncing and working altogether. - The phone would ring every time I hung up, which was frustrating. - The phone frequently didn't work at all, with no sound coming through. - The volume and side buttons were confusing, making it difficult for the elderly to use. - Overall, I would not recommend this product due to its poor performance and confusing design. The price is also inflated, attempting to convey a perceived value that it doesn't deliver.

I bought this phone for my mother, who has dementia. We tried it for two weeks, there is just too many steps to follow to get to phone directory or the missed calls. (1) Push Menu Select, (2) Down arrow till you see Caller Id Log (3) Push Menu Select again (4) Put arrow on Review (5) Push Menu Select again (6) down arrow to scroll down to see missed calls. I wrote the directions for her to follow, but it is too much. I do like the call block features and having four phone numbers programmed for 1 button push and easy to use. I am returning this phone, it is too complicated for people with dementia.

Great volume, with audio boost as needed. Large buttons, easy to use. Robo call blocker works like a charm.

Sound is clear and static free. You can reduce the volume to your own ear and the caller can still hear you clearly. It’s very easy to use. Bought the deskset and handset then an extra handset to fully set up the house.

Buenas noches, La verdad no leí bien creí que el equipo era como el que tengo actualmente de conectarlo directamente con el cable de luz y la linea telefonica y ahora que lo recibí ví en las instrucciones que se necesita el SN5127, fisicamente el telefono tiene muy buen tamaño, ahora mismo estoy encargando el equipo SN5127. Me gusta que tiene pantalla grande y botones grandes.

This is a great phone for senior's. Large numbers for good visibility, easy to use and the volume can be turned up quit loud.

Muy buena compra para personas con debilidad auditiva, ya que el volumen es bastante alto, lo único es que tiene que ajustarse lo grave y agudo según la persona con la que se habla.

Bought this with the base unit, both work well and easy to see and use for older parents

Puse 4 estrellas a la base porque no es muy amigable con los adultos mayores en general el diseño y esto aplica también a esta extensión, sin embargo, si la recomiendo porque es muy muy fácil de sincronizar con la base y rápidamente toma todo lo pre-programado sin necesidad de volverlo a hacer. Funciona muy bien. Yo la he usado solo a 12 metros de distancia y con dos puertas cerradas y la comunicación la hace muy bien. Se oye muy bien, es clara la voz.
