I've always struggled to maintain my healthy weight and have done many diets like slimming world, weightwatchers, detox diets etc I always stayed away from the slim fast diet cos it just did not seem like a feasible plan to me. I was in good shape before getting pregnant but after having my twins no matter what I've tried, the weight just won't budge! Was very demotivating. i came across slim fast again and thought why not? I dont have the time or energy to plan every meal and track everything that goes into my mouth, it's just too much effort. I've been on the plan for 2 weeks now and have lost 8lbs! That's more like it! I'm actually enjoying it. Once I've had my shake or meal bar I feel satisfied for 4 hours at least and although I try to avoid the snacks altogether I know I can have a nibble on a little something here and there. I suspect if you had all 3 snacks you wouldn't lose the weight as quick as I have but if you don't actually feel hungry, don't eat it. My tips would be when you wake up in the morning and feel the hunger pangs, don't run to the cupboards. Instead, have a very tall glass of hot water (I add some apple cider vinegar to mine to suppress appetite) first thing. Then just wait about half hour or less and you won't feel that starving feeling anymore. Then have your slim fast shake or meal bar with a cup of tea (no sugar but sweeteners) and take your time on it. space your snacks and shakes out so you don't have a long period of feeling like you have no calories left to consume. Plan your evening meal sensibly (use my fitness pal to work it out) and if you've spaced out your shakes and snacks throughout day you should just feel ready for your meal, not starving! Drink lots of water, coffees, teas, diet drinks etc to avoid an empty stomach feeling and it's so easy to find really nice 100cal snacks. I've been having crisps, Alpen cereal bars, slices of toast, yogurt pots, solero's and frozen sorbet! Seeing a good weight loss result end of week keeps me going. All the flavours taste delicious but banana is my favourite as you can mix it up with some coffee or cocoa or strawberries or even some fruit yogurt. Give it a go and good luck!

I've tried most of the flavours but this is my favourite. Tastes like a Maccies milkshake to me! (Thinner consistency though) Since I started I've lost 10kg and feel so much better for it, once you have adjusted to the lack of stuffing your face, this seems to work. I drink it slowly as there isn't an awful lot to a portion, at first you can top it up with your tears but you realise how filling it is afterwards. I've slipped a couple of times and gone back to becoming a walking doughnut for the day, but after wearing a hair shirt for a few hours I got back on the horse and galloped on. I'm hopeful this will continue working for me as I have to lose the equivalent of a sumo wrestler to be able to see Christmas.

Really nice taste. I dont usually like banana's but this is really nice! Easy to use and doesn't add any bulk like protein powder (which is even better as I am curvy lean so I dont want to add bulk in the wrong places so for me this is great.) It breaks down and gains in the right places so is amazing for me I.e bum and boobs. Arms still stay trim by balancing my diet with this as meal supplements when I am out and about. I need to get the coffee one as would be a great replacement for my morning breakfast and coffee when in a rush.

I'm 19, by no means overweight but I could do with losing those few excess pounds for myself and my biggest problem was not being able to balance a healthy and tasty diet since I work in a shop and the easiest meal to prepare is a Cadbury's dairy milk, so I thought a healthy meal replacement would be the best solution as it is easy to make and carry with you. I wanted a high protein meal replacement shake that I could enjoy as much as an actual shake, and Slimfast in the banana flavour allows just that. The first thing I wanted was a shake that wasn't grainy or powdery and when I electrically blend this it comes out a smooth, thick and creamy shake that manages to keep me full until my next main meal (I'd mix this with milk or any milk alternative for better texture and taste). So the texture is great provided you have any sort of blender at home (I haven't tried this without one so I can't say what it is like when just shaken by hand, but the powder itself is quite fine unlike some other powders that stick and fail to blend so i'd imagine it'd come out fine if ever I haven't had time to prepare beforehand), the taste is yummy and the benefits for not only weight loss but also energy are the real gold points. I've been using for a few days and have replaced two meals of the day with a shake and have one normal healthy solid meal and already I can tell this product will help me with weight loss and also to curb any appetite for unnecessary snacks, without sacrificing my health. Most days of the week i'm surrounded by sugary foods and unhealthy junk and since drinking these shakes I haven't had a single urge to reach out to a chocolate bar. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because I've only been using for a few days and may want to update on weight loss and health.

I purchased the slim fast multi flavour pack and for the banana is by far the tastiest (not so much a fan of vanilla). If you stick the plan you will find it works - in around a month i’ve Lost 7KG (from an original 112kg). Having the shake for breakfast actually seems to fill me up for longer than my traditional 2 oatybix in the morning with milk. With the shake for lunch and 2 pieces of fruit I then go until dinner which Can be a bit of a struggle if we eat late. Well worth it though, the weight is definitely coming off (just keep up with the exercise too which is part of the plan - I try to do 45 mins on an exercise bike per day)

I enjoy the slim fast shakes and so far they’ve made me lose a lot of weight and have suppressed my hunger a lot more than many other diet techniques. However, although it does taste somewhat like banana, this flavour has a very prominent protein taste. I don’t know whether it’s because I’m using semi skimmed instead of skimmed milk that the flavour is lost but it tastes very artificial. It’s edible and I’d probably get it again to give myself some variety but the flavour is a lot less evident that I would’ve expected. It does taste like a milkshake, just a very washy kind of taste. I personally prefer the caramel one as it has a lot more flavour to it.

Blissful Banana is by far my favourite flavour. I have been using this for a few weeks now and I have lost weight. I don't have a huge amount of weight to loose maybe around a 21lbs and a bit of mummy tum. I have been using the banana flavoured shake for breakfast in my blend active smoothie blender but adding a banana ( 1 of my 100 calorie snacks) and I'm finding that really filling and it's taking me right through to my next meal. As a person who usually skips breakfast I can say my body is reacting very positively to having breakfast. I have more energy and I'm not craving junk food. I'm writing this review after drinking this for a while (around a month). At start, it tasted fine but there is always this weird taste mixed with the banana flavour. After getting used to it, I'm unable to ignore this weird taste anymore, its like plastic taste which has been mentioned by some others. I dont recommend this especially for those who are picky about taste.

I order this a few weeks ago. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this here in Amazon. First, they don't sell them here in Canada, at least not in Quebec, so I didn't even look at the price and got me one... very good!

I found this particular flavor makes a very thick shake. Not ideal for a shaker but it does do well in an electric mixer. The strawberry reminds me of nestle quick milk but this one really makes a “shake”
