Stands come with pinch weld bracket as shown in advertised picture

Mine did not have a pinch weld bracket. It had a 3" x 4" x 1/4" metal plate with the corners turned up slightly.

What is the inside width between the two vertical pieces of the jack?

11 3/4” at the narrowest part

Will this fit under a miata with 6 inches of road clearance using a low profile 1.5 ton floor jack

The answer is "yes and no..." No if fully assembled at start. Yes if you start with just the upper bar on top of the low profile jack, lift up the car a ways around 12 1/2", then assemble the jack around the top bar. There are some videos online showing that procedure. Ideally you want to start with the stand fully assembled... but a lot of cars aren't that high off the ground. Does that make sense?

what's the unraised height of the stand?

Fully unraised is 12 1/4" based on my two units I purchased.
