Bestway Steel Pro MAX Splashview 14’ x 8'2 x 39.5” Above Ground Pool Set

This is the 3rd pool we purchased. We just kept getting a bigger one each year. We settled with this. For my kids its perfect. the pool is strong the frame is strong and the windows are awesome. The filter is garbage though. Make sure you buy one that is at least 1.6v. This one COMES WITH A 0.6w and you cant even feel the water coming out of the filter. This is not good. But i will not take a star away for that filter. For the price of what you are getting including the ladder you cannot beat the price. I actually used the past filters from my previous pool and it works great. I am not sure what people are posting, but I got exactly what was advertised.

Well made, easy to set up instructions. The only difficulty was getting all the wrinkles out to ensure the sides stood up appropriately. Once you start to fill it, the water weight makes it almost impossible to move the braces, so when ours was completely full, the sides still bowed in a bit. May be due to not being a completely flat surface, as we just put it on the grass, rather than lay down sand, as the pool would only be used for the 2 weeks we had our grandkids. We like that this one came complete with the filter system and ladder. The ladder is adequate, but the hardware is a little short and kept popping off one side. A quick trip to the garage found some longer bolts and we were back in business. The kids practically lived in it, they loved it and I would recommend this pool.

I recently purchased this to combat the heat of Florida. The size of this pool works perfectly for my small backyard and kids. It was easy to put up with another person, has held true to form, and is a great way to cool off after a long day. So, far we haven't had any issues with the pool leaking. The pump is small and not very strong for this pool, would recommend getting something better. For everything that is included it is worth the purchase.

Best pool ever needs a skimmer but for the money.

took a little more time to set it up than the instructions claimed but everything went together very well. Hooked up the pump and it went right to work… no muss - no fuss. We use Pool Day treatment and 1 chlorine tab to keep the pool sparkling clean. This is (so far after 3 weeks) an awesome pool for our 5 year old great granddaughter and her friends. I would recommend this pool very highly!

Great pool, I’ve had it for two summers, easy to install and breakdown. Good material. It’s a nice size for you and your family. The price is a bit high, but definitely worth it.

I am so disappointed in this. I bought this in March. I set it up in April. I filled it and within seven days it was empty. I’ve looked everywhere for a hole but it must be so small because it’s draining out super slowly. So I can’t fix it, I can’t return it. $600 literally down the toilet!!!!!! I tried to contact customer service as well as the seller to no avail. I don’t know about everybody else, but I’m getting so tired of buying things that are complete pieces of crap. Then we have no recourse. I saved up a long time to get this pool. Now I’m stuck with a broken pool and I’m about $600 it’s not acceptable. I certainly would not suggest buying this pool.

Good size pool, perfect for the area we were looking to put a pool in pur yard. However, the pump this set comes with is not sufficient for the size pool that it is. The pump motor went out within 2 weeks of setting the pool up, I assume because it was working too hard. Bestway was great at getting a new one sent out to us about a week later through the warranty, but that one also went out within another 3 weeks. Right after the 2nd pump stopped working, we put the cover on the pool (included in the set) and mostly drained the pool until we could find a pump that actually worked consistently. Before the new pump arrived we going that the cover for the pool kept sinking in to the pool. We kept adjusting it as necessary, and tried to ensure that the strings were tightened around the pool sufficiently, as the cover seemed to be for a slightly larger pool size than this is. After about 4-5 times readjusting the pool cover, the strings broke in 3 different spots and no longer worked for the pool. We've now been using the pool with a brand new (larger) pump and with a tarp as a cover for it for a little over a year. As of several days ago, we are now dealing with cracks in one of the windows. It hasn't begun leaking yet, but it's a ticking time bomb. The pool has remained at 80-90% full during use, and I was insanely anal about making sure the pool was on level ground during set up (to the point that we filled it 3/4 full and drained it 3 different times to ensure the legs were exactly even around the pool). This is very obviously a defect in the pool liner, which happened to not show until a year later, after the warranty has expired. I would 100% recommend spending the extra money to get a higher quality pool than this. For one, depending on the time of year, this seller could be selling this pool from anywhere between $400-$600 and not because its "on sale" at $400, they just change the price depending on demand. For two, ive seen pools for the same price I paid that someone will come out and install for you with a much sturdier frame and lining. I just wish I had seen those options sooner!!

Total height of water in the pool was not as advertised that the hight of the pool was stated as due to the fact that you could only fill it up to the red line and not to the top of the frame. It also advertised with 4 windows and it only came with 2. It advertised as having a ground sheet to put under the pool but the box was empty. We did however get reimbursed a substantial refund when we complained. So for customer service I give them 5 stars.
