This little book has good explanations for using idioms. I think this will help me get a higher score and consolidate my knowledge of English on this topic. It was interesting and informative.

This was free on Amazon, and for that price it would be worth getting. But if paying for this book, it would probably be more helpful to get a different book. This book seems to be written by a non-native speaker. A few of the sample phrases are not how a native speaker would say it. Although, perhaps that can be explained by poor editing, since that is another problem it gas. The book is not well organized with some idioms included twice, and it does not use the same format for choosing how to alphabetize for all entries. It does cover a variety of idiomatic expressions with decent definitions of them, but it seems to be missing some common ones. So, I would give it 2 stars.

A good book to learn and practice. To receive a higher band and improve English knowledge this could help as a stepping stone.
