Really good product compared to the other offerings in this category. Better than "old fashioned icing". If you emphasize recovery after your young athletes practices or games this is a must have. We use the ankle and knee attachments. They are very easy to secure and fit almost any body size. If you use frozen water bottles and near frozen water you can get a good hour of icing in while still staying ice cold. Easy to set up and use. Does not take up much space while not using. Ive recommended this to friends that were recovering from surgeries and they absolutely loved it.

Extremely helpful product! Using it for knee therapy and the active ice system is easy to use and set up. This system is so much better than ice packs or ice. You stay dry and always have access to cold therapy when you need it. I highly recommend this product!

This ice therapy has made it easier to ice both my legs at the same time. Best part is the TIMER!!! 20 MINUTES on 20 minutes off, there's no thinking involved; unless U want to change the timer.

Definitely does what it is supposed to do, just find that with a barrier between my skin and the bad it's not cold enough, and that was trying different thickness of cloths. Without a barrier too cold. I guess I'm fussy. But it works.

Bilateral knee replacement is a big deal. This cold therapy makes it less of a big deal. Comforting relief. Swelling reduced. No ice mess with the water bottles. Tip: The hoses can seem a bit unruly. They aren’t if you practice before surgery and figure out the best position. Tip: works best if on a end table or nightstand that is the same height as your bed/chair. Drape the hoses over the walker and bring the pads over your feet and up on your knees. Makes it simple to cover feet/ ankles that you don’t want cold, while having a lighter weight covering on your knees to reap the benefit. Tip: much easier to use after surgery if you roll and tape every piece of Velcro. The bulk from the Velcro acts as a weight and allows you to lay the pads directly on your knee(s). When you are in pain, you don’t want attachment hassles. Just set the remote and you’re feeling better. Tip: if one or both pads isn’t cold, just disconnect the connectors to let the air bubble out of the hose. Then reconnect the hose. Works every time! Fabulous invention that truly delivers. Work great love the features

I won’t give this machine any stars. It is defective and didn’t cool after plugged in. I’m very disappointed. After my hip replacement I borrowed this from a friend and it worked great. I ordered one for my husband when we knew he was having his double knee replacement, went to use it and it didn’t cool at all. Very disappointed!

Been great thus far, wife broke both legs and between a variety of their different pad options she was able to get comfort and increased healing by keeping inflammation down thanks to the Polar Active system. Slight concern about pad to tube connection durability, but only time will tell.
