The SABRENT USB 4-Port Hub does exactly what it says on the tin! The powered USB hub allows you to expand your USB devices without worrying about the power supply issues from your PC thanks to the included dedicated power. The hub includes switches that operate seamlessly, allowing you to control each device with individual switches. I've used Sabrent products previously (including my M.2 SSD drive) and the quality is always super! This hub is no exception and has great performance with high data transfer speeds (up to 5Gbps). I also really like how lightweight and compact the product is. It takes up very little space and can even be easily hidden behind your desktop so its not in the way. That being said, if you did want to have the USB hub on show, then it looks really sleek. The black design with the blue LED's on the switches adds character to your setup! Overall, I genuinely have no complaints about this hub. It is exceptional value for money, and I'm confident it will work for years to come.

Needed to accommodate peripherals and add a new WiFi 6 adapter to an older laptop after having full fibre installed. All devices plugged in to the hub which is itself plugged into a single USB socket, work as if inserted into the laptop itself. Each input can be switched on and off if that is useful. Such a great purchase.

The product came up to my expectations regarding build quality, appearance and feel. The one issue I have is that the power is maintained to the external device even when the computer is powered down, until you physically switch it off at the USB hub. You then need to power it (a midi keyboard in my case) back on before booting the computer next time. Otherwise you can get issues of the device not being available on the system. But none of this is the device's fault.

Perfect for adding extra USB ports to your laptop or desktop computer. I’ve had one of these for about five years, if not longer, and only bought another because my wife was using it and, when it was unplugged, the cat decided to be sick right on it. But I digress—this is a great little port hub, with separate buttons for each device you plug in, and it has never let me down in all the time I’ve had it.Perfect for everyday use, overall very happy and glad to recommend this.

Fantastic device - bought after a previous USB stopped working after only a few weeks of use. This Sabrent unit has now been working without fault for over a year powering 4 USBs continuously. Works well although I've only got usb-2 devices connected so far. I have mine attached to the end of a 5m extension usb-3 cable used to extend the usb-3 ports of a mac pro which is housed in a closet. Then I have a 3m usb cable connected from the hub to a midi keyboard. The hub powers the keyboard and there is no perceptable latency at all while playing which is excellent. Would have been nice to have at least one usb-c port, I had to buy an adapter at extra cost for one of my leads. I chose the cheapest decent hub I could find for my use case. These small hubs are so light that it's impossible to get them to stay flat when cables are connected. I used velcro to attach mine to an unused hard drive which makes it easier to plug and unplug. I put in my first review that it didn't charge phones. It does, I am charging my iphone with it. Appeared not to work first time for some reason. Maybe the port was not switched on.
