Roka Original Cheese Biscuits Super Cheesy Gouda Cheese Crisps 2.46 Ounce 2 Pack

I discovered these because MARILYN MONROE has a tin of them in "SOME LIKE IT HOT" on the train with the other band members as they enjoy manhattans they mix up in a hot water bottle/bag. The film shows them eating saltine crackers- but the little tin box is for "CHE CRI CHEESE CRISPIES", which are these wonderful crackers. They have stayed the same since I first had them in the 1980's. The company ROKA was founded in 1949 and I would bet the recipe has not changed since then. These crackers are full of gouda cheese and extremely high quality. When I visited the Netherlands, I expected to find them everywhere but that oddly was not the case. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Buy an old tin like Marilyn's on Ebay and 2 packages of these will fit perfectly inside for storage. MUCH better with manhattans than saltines! It's the only way to enjoy watching SOME LIKE IT HOT.

I tried the Gouda Cheese Sticks for the first time last Friday when I purchased a box at my local Lunardi's. I was so impressed I had to see if they sold them on Amazon. Decided to try the crackers. I can't rate five stars due to condition of the crackers. I ordered a pack of two and opened one. A fair percentage are broken.

Recipe unchanged since the 1950s. My mother kept a tin by her bed (poor dad) Best cheese crackers ever.

I've ordered these before from Amazon, and they were fine. In this order, there wasn't a single unbroken cracker in the entire box. Nothing but crumbs! Won't order again, will be asking for a refund.

I like the texture/crunch, but after eating a few there's an oily aftertaste. I wanted a stronger cheese flavor.My item was also crumbled, as I've noticed other consumers with the same issue.I would not order again.

Always a hit at parties, and I love these crackers! Never found any that I like more. Delivery is slow, but totally reliable (have ordered a number of times).

Delicious cheese flavor. Crisp. two or three make a perfect snack with a glass of wine or a drink before dinner. The gouda flavor is pronounced but not overwhelming. I have also broken pieces into soup and chili. But careful, like potato chips, they can be addictive

The crackers are delicate and therefore arrived broken. The packages were already tiny! Pretty tasty though.
