functions as it should
This Zerex coolant worked well for my car. The mix quality looked good, and it performed as expected. The orange color matches the product description, and it was easy to use and pour. It’s antifreeze. It’s for water cooled engines. It’s needed here in the cold climates.

Perfect replacement for expensive OEM, this is spec for ford
Right before the winter came, I went for a complete drain and fill of coolant, lately it's been very cold and I noticed each week the coolant was less and less, however I didn't see any spillage at all. I noticed that the coolant that was used from the place I went to "jiffy lube" used a lighter orange color compared to the Ford golden orange. I found myself topping the coolant off each week. That's never happened before, so I knew it had to be the coolant that was used. I then took it to a mechanic that I knew after ordering this coolant and he let me know that using the correct coolant is so important, that it has to be Ford (or vehicle ) Spec. He said that one of the signs is that it takes longer to heat up the vehicle, which was happening to me. Once I changed it to this coolant, the car heated up right away, it's been three weeks and I haven't had to do any topping off, no evaporation at all. The best part is that this is indeed a premium coolant at a major value for the money spent. I never realized that making sure your coolant is to the exact spec of what the manufacturer requires is that important. I'm happy I realized that now before something going wrong with the engine.

My 5 star review is for how quickly I received this. I was stranded on the highway and AAA ordered it for me and brought it to me. They took me to a motel nearby, they had it delivered to the motel, drove me back to my pickup and watched me drive away. Amazon is my hero.
