Intex 26005 Anschluss-Set Ø 38 mm Pool Accessories, Grey

So I bought these connections after buying a pool vac that works from the outlet. Our Aldi Summer Waves 14ft pool had different, very basic connections and a 1000l per hour filter pump (so I bought a new one of those too) so neither were compatible with the new pool vac. I watched a YouTube video on how to install these as it meant emptying some water out (half the pool as it happens to get below the inlet connection), cutting the inlet and outlet holes in my pool to make them much bigger to fit the new system. Armed with a sharpie and the Oring from the connection, I marked the inner circle of the Oring evenly over the existing outlet hole and then put a new blade in the Stanley knife and cut along the circle line. Had to try it and then keep trimming until the connection went thru, because I had cut more on the inside than outside of my sharpie line as initially I was scared I would make it too big so went steady. I didn’t use Vaseline on the threads, as I saw in another video (after I had done it) but it went through and pushed it flush and tightened the connector on the outside and added the valve and repeat for the inlet hole. All refilled to discover there was a little drip running down the bottom on the outside of the outlet connection, but we tightened up the outer screw ring as much as we could and hope it has stopped it. (fingers crossed). Should be much easier cleaning filters and winterising the pool now with the valves being able to be closed off and no bungs to try to fit into tight holes. Also the connections on the inside are now compatible with the pool vac, and other intex devices too I expect. Hopefully all will be good as we start to use the pool as it gets warmer.

When the Item originally arrived there was a part missing (No fault of the seller as came in sealed intex box). Mark Pro were very quick to respond and sent out a whole new set. They stayed in contact with me throughout to ensure that my replacement kit was received and could not apologise enough. They then did all the arrangement for the return of the original kit. Customer service was excellent and goes a long way for me when I am purchasing on line. With regards to the Inlet and filter they both come with a gate valve, they are extremely well made from a hard plastic (much better quality than the others you can purchase cheaper) and larger than the other ones that usually come with the pool. That means there is a more powerful jet to keep the water moving. They fit perfectly onto my sand filter pump that comes with a 32mm hose so no new adapters are needed. Over all I think this is an excellent purchase and well worth every penny. I would definitely recommend this product above all the others that I have had in the past.

After great deliberation, I decided to cut my pool liner to allow for the bigger inlet/outlet and 1.5 inch hose connectors for the pipe. It worked, brilliantly.

Updated the swimming pool inlet and outlet valves.

BEWARE!! Inaccurate product description. Whilst the quality of the valves and components are very good, the description clearly states that two vales are supplied. However only ONE is supplied. This makes it extremely expensive. There is also no means of contacting the seller. I tried and was told that there is no history of the order because this is shipped from Amazon USA and support is UK based. So basically an unsupported sale. Best to head off to eBay where they are much cheaper.

Durchfluss: Der Wechsel auf 38mm sorgt für einen spürbar besseren Durchfluss und entlastet die Pumpe. Fazit: Wer seinen Pool vernünftig verrohren will und auf das 38mm System setzt, macht mit diesem Original-Set alles richtig. Es ist stabil, passgenau und hält dicht. Absolute Kaufempfehlung für ein stressfreies Badevergnügen!

Bought solely for the two valves, which works really well. Good to know is that the famale ends on these are oval, so think carefully regarding how to place and use! (Unless you use the full set as intended! ;) )

Excellente qualité, Je regrette simplement qu’ils ne soient pas compatibles avec ma piscine (diamètre trop gros), car j’aurais aimé pouvoir les garder. Les échanges pour le retour avec le fournisseur font fluide, rapide et très efficaces; Je préfère le préciser car ce n'est pas toujours le cas.
