Brightening my space with the Armacost Lighting Flex Pro Tape Light
I recently purchased the Armacost Lighting Tape Light, and I truly couldn't be happier’ At 32.8 feet, it's the perfect length to run along my kitchen cabinets, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that I adore. From the moment I peeled off the adhesive backing and applied it, I realized how fantastic this product is. The installation was phenomenally easy—if you can stick something to a surface, you can install this tape light! The flexible design means I could snake it around corners effortlessly. The soft bright white 3000K glow provides just the right amount of light without being harsh on the eyes. It's almost like having natural daylight in my home! Not only does it illuminate the workspace when cooking but also sets a cozy mood for my evening gatherings. One of my favorite features is the density of the LEDs—at 60 LEDs per meter, the light is beautifully consistent and even, without any unexpected dark spots that I've experienced with other brands. Plus, the fact that it's professional grade gives me confidence in its longevity and effectiveness. I've also been experimenting with using these lights to highlight artwork and decorative features around my home, and the result is breathtaking. It brings everything to life, adding a whole new dimension of depth and sophistication. If you’re considering updating your lighting, I wholeheartedly recommend the Armacost Lighting Ribbon Flex Pro Tape Light! It's an easy, transformative touch that has thoroughly exceeded my expectations. You won't regret it!

For the DIY
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Great product! Great for the DIYer! They work very well with a dimmer. I have installed at least 90 feet of this stuff in various built-in cabinets with great success. The oldest is several years old and is still going strong. My writeup may sound complicated and intimidating to some, but in reality, this stuff is easy to work with. Tip: Pay attention to the light temperature when ordering. You can get this in 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft bright white), and higher temperatures that get more white / bluish. You can also get it in different densities of LEDs per meter. For cabinet lighting, I use 2700K 30 LEDs per meter. Even with that, I have to dim it down for a pleasing effect. See photos. First, this NOT a "plug-and-play" light string. This product is not hard to use, but you will need some tools and DIY abilities. In addition to this reel of adhesive-backed LED lights, you will need a power supply and fine-gauge wire, both available from Armacost - and for my builds, I use a separate ON/OFF dimmer switch, WAGO 221 wire connectors, and an aluminum channel with a diffuser. Tip: The capacity of the power supply needs to be matched to the number of LEDs it will power - if in doubt, always go for the larger capacity. See photos of my encyclopedia cabinet build where each shelf has a light strip and the photo from the interior shows the end of the power supply, the Armacost dimmer switch, the WAGO 221 connector, and the LED strip enclosed in an aluminum channel with diffuser. On Amazon, look for: Armacost Lighting 511123 White Single Color LED Dimming Controls, Rotary Knob WAGO 221 Lever Nuts 35pc Compact Splicing Wire Connector Assortment with Case You can buy the Armacost electrical connectors to attach the wires to the LED strip, but I prefer to solder the wires to the LED strips - I find the connectors are a bit fussy and I believe the soldered connections are better (ONLY use rosin-core solder with a small soldering iron - NEVER use acid-core solder which will deteriorate electronics!) Tip: solder the wires on BEFORE you stick the strip to its final location - it is MUCH easier to solder it when it is on a workbench. Use painter's tape to position both the wires and the LED strip in order to solder them up. The LED strip can only be cut in specific locations where bare copper sections are placed along its length (just use scissors) and the polarity for the wires (+ and -) is clearly marked at each location.

Easy Install and Very Bright
High quality and very bright. Worked perfectly with the diner by the same company to illuminate my cargo trailer. The number of LEDs make it look like one continuous strip of light. Far superior than the cheap versions.

Great Quality! Even light distribution.
It’s nice to find quality product from a company that won’t disappear after short time and the product breaks. Armacost is amazing with their full solution for your lighting needs. I set these LED strips in my kitchen for cabinet lighting. They work with a dimmer wall switch along with the Armacost LED dimmable drivers. This is very hard to find as most are controlled with a remote and if you cut power to the controller, it wouldn’t remember the last state next time you turn them on. These products from Armacost solve all my issues. The strips have much higher density of spots where you can cut them , giving you the possibility to eliminate and dead spots and make the end to end fit very possible. I recommend.

They’re great. A lot brighter than we thought. Adhesive isn’t great.
These are great for under counter. They are a lot brighter than we expected so we used 2’ instead of 4’. Cutting them and making them into smaller strips is simple. There are wires on both ends; if you cut in half you can simply wire to power pack or battery. The adhesive is okay but I used hot glue as well. Of the 12v 7mA battery they run for about 2 hours and will run the battery down to 8v. It’s not ideal but it works fine.

Easy to install the lighting.
Easy to install, especially easy to cut to length. Even though prior lights had different color options, they were rarely used, were more challenging to install and more expensive. In our kitchen remodel we chose these lights. They are excellent for under kitchen cabinet lighting. Some suggestions: One is for the manufacturer to add to installation options in the directions to install under cabinet back lighting molding rather than cutting slits between cabinets. I cut the slits, it worked fine and was quickly done with an oscillating saw. Installing the lighting is easy, a suitable transformer takes some thought as to the best place to install it. Some possibilities are under the kitchen sink, in the crawl space or attic for concealment and keeping low voltage wiring out of high voltage gang boxes as required by electrical codes. The best option and results are a transformer and dimmer switch on the high voltage side.

Work great, nice and bright. Easy to install. You need a power supply so buy a good one. I bought a dimmable power supply so i can turn the light down when you want it just as subtle back lighting.

a little pricey in comparison to alternative flex strip lighting, but good quality product.

Been installed in my kitchen for more than a year, I think. Makes for great low profile under-cabinet lighting.
