You'd be surprised how stable this system is for backdrops. I mounted a 9ft x 50 yard roll of seamless on this thing and it holds up without any issues. Its really a simple set up and MUCH better then any backdrop stand. Autopoles are more expensive but if you want stability, this is the way to go. The roller system is just awesome. You stick the roller into the seamless paper roll and tighten by adjusting the rollers to expand inside the paper roll on each side. Screw in the mounting brackets into the Super clamp and then clamp onto the polls. Its SOOOOOOO light weight but sturdy. I left my roll of for about a week and no signs of it crashing down. Pricey but worth every penny as its the most portable sturdy option out there to mount your backdrop.

The Manfrotto Autopole kit has brought my studio to a whole new level. The set up was a fairly simple process. It's study and easy to operate giving me the ability to have 3 seamless drops at any time. The product is solid and the poles secure firmly making me trust the system. The assembly was less than an hour long and was done with two people.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to setup, works a treat. Metal chains feel solid (and much better than the cheaper plastic options so I've heard).
