Turner odorless persimmon juice 500ml by Turner color

This product worked well to preserve my outdoor mahogany front door. I was looking for a safe non toxic way to preserve the wood and add a bit of color. I had to use a search engine to find out how to use it on wood because it is written Japanese. Here is how to use it on wood: EASY TO USE Just apply directly or dilute with water! No fixer needed. Use water without metals or chlorine for better results. WATER BASED No mess! You can clean your hands and brushes with water. HEALTHY Non-toxic, water-resistant, antiseptic, insect repellent, mildew-proof. ORGANIC No additives! Instead of using a chemical treatment to remove the fermentation scent, we use a heat treatment to remove the bacteria and reduce the odor. The balsamic vinegar or food compost-like smell will start to disappear after a week. BOTANICAL Over time, the dyed color becomes deeper by the oxidation of the tannin. LONG-LASTING You can preserve Kakishibu dye in a pack for years! Unopened Kakishibu can be saved even longer, and it will become a rich color as aging progress.

I bought this product to dye a pair of natural Undyed cotton jeans. I only used one soak of the fermented persimmons then let it dry in the sun as recommended in online tutorials I found. Then I gave it a soak in an iron mordant to turn everything grey. This is exactly what I was hoping for. The color is even and such a beautiful shade of grey. I know using the iron might not be traditional, but it was a very satisfying result.

I brush it onto baskets I make from office paper. The finish goes on like strong coffee but cures to an even, durable coating. My paper baskets last a long time with just one or two light coats. There are an infinite number of applications for this natural product. I just love it and am so glad it’s available.

Used on engraved wood table. Went on like oil stain, but without the smell. Easy water cleanup. beautiful color. Arrived earlier than predicted.

Love this classic Japanese Dye product, which I didn’t think I would be able to source from this country. It arrived well before it’s due date from Japan with no customs duty to pay. I have only had it for a few hours, but already I have tried it on some mokuhanga paper. It dries to a slight gloss on paper like a varnish. I intend to let to dry before I dip it in the Indigo Dye. Looking forward to using it on fabric too.

使いかけの保管には注意が必要です。 2023年に購入したものが、2025年になってドロドロのゼリー状になっていました。 栓をしっかりする。より小さい容器に移すなど工夫が必要だったと思います。 もの自体は、本当に嫌な匂いがなく、使いやすくて良い物です。

消毒に使っています

無臭じゃないと結構な匂いがする（しかも乾いてからも）と聞いたので本当に無臭で良かったです。 ただ、今回必要としたのは少量だったので、もっと少ない量だともっと良かったかなというのは個人的にですが。 賃貸から脱出したら、家中に使いたいです〜。
