While Superclear has more UV Inhibitor than any other epoxy on the market, like all epoxies, it can yellow in direct sunlight over-time. Superclear dries absolutely crystal clear and will resist yellowing in sunlight much longer than others on the market.

Absolutely! This product is great for casting. It will dry to a crystal-clear finish.

does the epoxy have expiration date? ! year from mfg date?

No just keep it in a warm to cool area for storage not top much out of a tropical climate for storage or can be harder to use any farther out its comfort zone

I see the instructions are to measure each part by volume, are there alternate instructions to measure by weight?

The ratio to volume is 100:83, so you can do it that way. The 1:1 mix ratio is only by Volume.
