Very good although they did come apart and dumped loads of salt on the food. Probably our fault, we probably did not clip them together well.

When I opened up the box I noticed one of the covers wasnt seated properly and when I removed it to fit the batteries assorted springs and buttons and bits of plastic fell out. Not a good first impression. Still nothing was broken and it was easy enough to fit it all back together. Then, first time I used it the LED bulb fell in my dinner... Having said that, once reconstructed they work well although the bulk of each one is taken up by batteries and motor and the actual cintainer of salt/pepper is pretty small. On balance Im happy enough as the price was fair.

Well designed and well made. Lovely set of two grinders. Metal with a glass effect window, push button on top to operate. Easy to open up, both to fill the mills and to add batteries. Each mill requires 4 AA batteries. How fine the mill grinds can be set by adjusting a screw on the bottom of the mill. The mill also lights up whilst grinding, this helps you to see where the grinded product is going and how much is being used. Not really essential but looks very nice. A very nice set that look, feel and function far better than the standard variety. They look very elegant and I'm really pleased with them.

I've had these for a about 18 months so they've had a fair trial ,I found them hard to fill through a small aperture , fiddly ,some waste, the electrics are unreliable, the push button on top doesn't always work, just when they are needed with a hot meal to season. I use high capacity rechargeable batteries 4 in each one which aren't cheap so they are not the problem. The three parts don't fit together very securely and I notice the "Stainless steel" now has rust spots. and they are rather top heavy and fall over easily and the plastic bottom falls off when lifting. So I'm having to buy a hand grinder set and do away with batteries and electrics, not worth the hassle.

I was very pleased with these grinders until the salt mill gave up the ghost a week or so ago. I checked everything I could but couldn't find any obvious reason why it stopped working. It's like the gears on the inside have stripped and now there is only a clicking noise and no grind at all. The pepper mill is still going but the same noise happens periodically. I can only guess that the gears in the mechanisms are not very strong. Good while they lasted.

Lo llevo usando mucho tiempo y es súper cómodo el que lleva luz al usarlo, de hecho uso los dos y no he cambiado pilas desde hace mucho. Buena compra.

Mi piace cucinare, ma da quando ho avuto un problema alla mano, fare delle operazioni mi risulta difficile ed ho optato per la comodità di un prodotto che macina per me e allo stesso tempo mantiene l'essenza delle spezie intatte nel loro bacillo. Il prodotto si presenta bene, linea molto pulita ed essenziale, un pò troppo acciaio per i miei gusti, ma accostato alla cucina mi sono ricreduto. A questo giro vi ho fatto le foto con il paragone della mia mano, per darvi il senso della grandezza. Ogni macinino ha bisogno di 4 batterie AA, per intenderci non sono quelle del telecomando, ma quelle degli orologi da parete (TENDENZIALMENTE EH), non conosco l'assorbimento, ma ha una luce led alla base che entra in azione quando macina, vi consiglio di prendere le ricaricabili. Altra cosa importante, in base a cosa ci mettete dentro, potete regolare il tipo di macinatura girando IN SENSO ORARIO ... PIU' FINE IN SENSO ANTIORARIO.... PIU' GROSSO La lamella bianca posta sotto al macinino. (togliete il tappo nero sotto e capovolgetelo... trovata?) Credo che ne prederò altri due, per quelle spezie che uso di rado ma con i loro colori fanno figura in cucina. Spero vi sia stato utile con tutte le foto e ...Buon fuoco a tutti
