I absolutely LOVE this desk. It is solid wood as far as I can tell. Not partical board. The varnish finish is nice and well done. The desk came in great shape and all parts were there. It was easy to assemble. Just had to install the legs and cross pieces in between the legs. I am using the desk for my sewing machine so I dont have to keep getting my machine out of the closet. I am very happy with the mid century style. I have this mid century style desk in a room with other antique high quality solid wood pieces and it goes well in the room with them. The drawer has ample storage. The desk is sturdy. It is very functional for my needs.

Absolutely impressed with the quality of this desk. It’s the perfect size for our space. It was quick and easy to put together and it looks amazing! I can’t recommend this desk enough. And it’s real wood!

I’m really pleased with this purchase. The size is perfect. It feels really sturdy and well made. It was simple to put together. All the pieces were included and well marked. I had no problems with pieces not fitting like other reviewers mentioned. I feel like the top could be a little thicker and a tiny piece of the veneer chipped while I was putting it together so I’m concerned with it not wearing well over time but for the price, the style and ease of assembly exceeded my expectations! Of course, i immediately changed the drawer pull for something more interesting!

I absolutely love the look and size of the desk. The wood material is also really great quality. Very easy to assemble. The reason for 4 stars was that the drawer falls off the track very easily so I make sure to place things in there that I don’t need often. It falls off track literally everytime I open it. I have to push up on the very bottom of the drawer while sliding it back in slow to prevent it from falling. Other than that, it’s nearly perfect.

Perfection, quality, and easy to assemble. The quality is outstanding. From the moment I opened the box, I was delighted. I'm a bit picky when it comes to buying things, but this desk completely won me over. It's not too big, but not too small either.

I don't usually proactively review products unless I really hate them and it's worth letting people know not to make the same mistake... but this desk is THE EXCEPTION. Since the quarantine started, I broke 2 "cheap" (under $150 ) Amazon desks that couldn't stand being moved or used every day. I decided to give this one a try before investing in something over $300 and wow I am impressed. After reading the comments, I still had doubts if this was real wood and I can testify that it really is. A beautiful caramel polished wood. Nope, no MDF here. The top and the drawer come assembled and all you have to do is screw the legs and the bars that go in the middle of the legs in place. The instructions are also very easy to read through, with all parts numbered and draws that don't make you guess what goes where. The screws and other small parts also come organized in individual sections in a plastic bag along with an Allen key. I got it ready to work on in less than 30 minutes. It is sturdy, doesn't move an inch even if you tilt it. It fits my laptop and an extra monitor, with enough space for a lamp, mouse pad and mouse, keyboard, notebook and pens, and a coffee mug. The drawer is a nice touch and great to keep the things you need nearby without overcrowding the desktop space. I am even considering buying the bookshelf as well and make a proper office space out of it. Don't look any further, this is the desk you are looking for.

All wood, looks good. Assembly was rather simple. Very attractive, looks way better than I thought it would.

I normally rarely leave reviews but I must say I was compelled by the dear beauty of this table, do not hesitate, it's great!

It’s a nice heavy wood and good for the price but the paint on the top of the desk has a spot where it’s bubbled (it’ll probably chip off soon) and legs are stained differently. Two are darker than the other. The quality of the wood is nice and it’s a fairly easy set up but it feels like a slapped on paint or stain job. Price wise it’s a lot more affordable than other desks in the similar style though.

Design of the desk is nice but quality is junk - drawer sticks like crazy - veneer is chipping all over the place - I only use lightly and only view my laptop on the table - no art work or anything that should cause chipping- very disappointed as the price is quite high for the quality. Owned less than 6 months
