I’ve never used a site bath, but I read lots of reviews before deciding on this one. After a week of daily use, I must say I quite pleased. The white is nice, as it doesn’t draw extra attention. You can still see the shape of it through the thin nylon bag, but it’s unobtrusive nonetheless. It fits perfectly on my round toilet, and another review stated that it fit well on an elongated one, so I should be set wherever I am. The seat feels sturdy, even though I weigh 230. The material is smooth and very easy to clean. The transition from the seat to the bowl portion is gradual, so there is no pressure point on you legs or bottom as there is with some others. With the well-placed drain holes, I have had no drips on the floor, and (unlike using the standard bath), there is very little drying of myself needed either. This has made self-care and healing much easier and more efficient for me, and I only wish I had purchased sooner.

First off, it did not come with a draw string bag. That's disappointing and I'd like to have it, but I just put it back in the bag it came in after each use. I bought this because I have a chronic fissure. I didn't think it would help, but after weeks of pain I finally get some relief with this. Not 100%, but it isn't meant to be the big cure. I still have to use the prescription and OTC meds. There were some complaints about this breaking easily. I'm not sure how that could happen. It's a softer plastic with some give, but very sturdy. I use it on top of my toilet seat instead of lifting. Since I'm a big woman...323lbs, I thought I might need the extra support of the seat underneath. My rear fits, and it hasn't broken after several uses. If you're big like me you'll want to use less water than the directions (2qts) say or it's all just going to pour out the drain holes anyway. Sit gently if you're big, unless you like cleaning water off the floor. You're rear *will* cover the drain holes. It's not comfortable to sit on long term. I only sit for about 10 minutes, instead of the recommended 15-20 but it certainly does the job. If you want comfort then just sit in your bath tub and good luck getting up. I definitely recommend this product!

If you have been diagnosed with a certain kind of fissure in a not very pleasant part of your body please read this review, it might give you hope. I know everyone is different and has different degrees of severity with fissures so my story might not be yours BUT…When I was first diagnosed last week and did some reading online, the prognosis looked grim. I read that even acute anal fissures could last weeks and if not treated well, even months. If they become chronic and don’t heal, it could even lead to some pretty unpleasant surgeries. Like all of us, I’ve been cooped up for over a year and a half, now finally going on vacation to celebrate a 25th anniversary. Wouldn’t you know this horrible condition threatens to ruin everything. I’ve used this well designed sitz bath RELIGIOUSLY at least 3x a day. It’s easy and so convenient to use and clean. Fits perfectly on an elongated toilet seat. I added several drops of FORCES of NATURE fissure organic oil (found here on Amazon) to the warm water. Day 5 since diagnosis and I am about 60% better than where I was. I am hoping with another week before I leave on vacation and I actually might be well enough to enjoy myself. I’ve been really diligent with my prescribed medication, in my case a nitroglycerin based cream and I use the fissure oil directly on the area 2x per day as well. I had no idea about these baths and wish I knew way back when I had my babies. I can’t describe the relief! The pulsing and throbbing pain has dulled to a tolerable achiness. Gave this a 4 because I believe it will work well, should be easy to clean and use and is comfortable the way it is made. However, on receipt, I read reviews to try to figure out how to get the pieces separated (hitting it on a concrete floor worked for me. I also was trying to figure out how to contact the company for a missing rubber fitting (could not find the info anywhere). Only have 3 of 4 on receipt and I see this is a reoccurring issue from reading reviews. It is a shame a company with a needed product does not have better quality control or include instructions for their product. I do love how the product fits close against the toilet so it is lower profile and can easily slide out for use. Hope it works for the problems I purchased it for.

So easy to use no hassle. Just fill it with warm water, sit n relax helps with the itching and the pain of pulling stitches. Remove the toilet seat put the sitz bath over the pot and fill with warm water. The holes at the back n front help in both emptying it as well as with the spills if any when u sit (smart design), which keeps the surroundings clean as the extra water goes in the pot n not outside it. The surface dries out the moment u empty it (again no spills). Comes with a bag in which u can store n carry it. All in all comfortable, soothing n easy to maintain design. I highly recommend it

When looking for a sitz bath, the negative reviews I saw for the Soothic sitz bath were based on a label being superglued on (mine did not have anything glued to it) and attempts to use it for Yoni steaming. Honestly, if that's what you're trying to use this for, you deserve the burns you get on your a**. For a sitz bath, this device does exactly what it's supposed to do. I was worried as a plus-sized woman that I would have issues with the size of the bath and with the water level not submerging the areas I needed it to, and also worried about it fitting my toilet. None of those things have been an issue. The only issues I've had are not the fault of the device at all, for example, I have short legs so my feet go to sleep if I don't put my feet up on something while sitting on it. Also, if you fill it with water that is too hot or cold, it is obviously going to be quite uncomfortable. I do wish that the sitz bath looked a little more inconspicuous or was easier to hide, but again, it's not the fault of the device and I do appreciate the bag it came with. ALSO! I appreciated the included discount coupon for Soothic bath salts which I have since ordered and have been enjoying.

Satisfied with product. Have used three times. It is easy to use, easy to clean afterwards and comfort is ok. It is plastic and like sitting on a toilet seat. I did not have a problem with the water reaching the intended area as others have reported. I consider myself to be of average size, not skinny and not overweight. I would advise cleaning before use with a solution of clorox and water and then going over that with something like dawn soap. And then clean again after each use. I say this as other reviewers have had issues with receiving ones that looked as if they had been used before. Better safe than sorry. Mine looked clean, but you never know.

I’ve bought this product three times. First two were wonderful. Last purchase in September was not as good. Design changed slightly, did not come with bag. The new design causes water to overflow when used with same amount of water on the same toilet. The hole in the front is placed differently. I’m just disappointed because this had been a comfortable, terrific Sitz bath. Also this version doesn't have the 'hanging' hold on the back of the bath. ETA - added photo to show how this model does not look exactly like the pictured product; nor like the first two I purchased. Again, really loved the original version.
