Quad Magnesium Blend by Vitamonk - with Magnesium Orotate, Glycinate Chelate, Magnesium Taurate and Di- Magnesium Malate - High Absorption Magnesium Complex for Sleep, Heart, and Mood

I am on autoship with this supplement. I get very bad leg cramps and with all of the water I drink, this supplement keeps the cramps away. I like that it has multiple types of magnesium thus covering all of the bases.

I have been using these for a little over a month now and for me I have noticed a difference in my quality of sleep. They do not make me drowsy or anything like that. I have experienced less waking and tossing and turning and anxiousness that came along with menopause. It is not gone completely for me, but a noticeable improvement, for the price and some results, I will be continuing use.

I just want to comment on Amazon's recall practices, and the devestating effect they can have on a vendor when Amazon makes a mistake and sends out a recall notice for products that are not affected. Many of Amazon's customers are not savvy enough to check the FDA's website, to read through a recall notice, or to understand what it is telling them. They do not understand how the supplement industry works. They don't check with the supplement company. There are hundreds of supplement companies. They formulate their products to make them unique in some way and make their brand stand out. They then source the raw materials and manufacturing from a limited number of suppliers. These suppliers may, for example, stock large quantities of various powders, and have the machinery and trained personnel to fill and label small bags or capsules with a mix of powders as specified in their contract with the supplement company. They ship the finished products to the supplement company or direct to Amazon, which ships individual bottles to customers. It is the suppliers that the FDA may cite for "violations of current good manufacturing practices". What does that mean? Possibly not taking enough care to mix and measure ingredients perfectly accurately. Or, the supplier's building could be infested with pests. All they tell us in this notice is "to date, there have been no reported ilnesses or injuries as a result of this situation." Should you panic and throw away all your supplements from brand X, Y or Z mentioned in the recall notice? I didn't. There was nothing wrong with them that I could see, smell or taste, and I had no side effects. [The following is just my opinion: the FDA is not looking out for consumers. It is coordinating an attack on supplement companies because they compete with Big Pharma. Billions of dollars are shifting from drugs to supplements because you and I have found that they work just as well or better, along with lifestyle changes. These inspections are more likely part of an effort to disrupt the supplement industry, increase their costs, cause confusion and taint their image in the eyes of consumers. They do this because most of the high ranking officials at FDA are former Pharma. Don't fall for it. Do your own fact checking.] In this particular case, it turns out the supplier had not kept their cGMP certificates current. VitaMonk is listed as one of the 850 supplement companies affected. The FDA notice doesn't list individual affected products - if a supplement company had a contract with this particular supplier for ANY product in the past six years, they were caught up in the recall. VitaMonk had ONE affected product, HMB. They had already stopped using this supplier for that product a year earlier. Amazon compounded the impact by sending out recall notices to anyone who purchased ANY products from one of these 850 supplement companies, in some cases issuing thousands of dollars in refunds out of sellers' accounts, or removing products from the Amazon catalog. This can put a small supplement company out of business. If you value these small supplement companies that educate us, help us feel better, get off/stay off drugs and regain our health, please stop for moment and consider how you might best support them, and go do that. I sleep well when taking this magnesium. I also found that my mood has been somewhat lifted! I feel very well. Thank you.

**FORMULA CHANGED** ****I had to revise my review.**** From 5 stars to 0 stars!!! I am VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! This Mag used to ONLY have Mag Gylcinate, Taurinate, Malate, & Orotate. Which I absolutely LOVED & gave it a 5 Star review (but in my original review I said 10 stars in the description) I've Never given that high of a review before. But the original formula was that Good! But they changed the formula & add Magnesium Oxide as the 2nd ingredient which means there's more of this GARBAGE magnesium (Oxide is Only a 4% absorption rate) in the product then the other beneficial Mags like Glycinate, Orotate, Malate & Taurinate. Now because of the Oxide being the 2nd ingredient this Magnesium supplement is absolute Garbage!!!!!! Why would I waste my money on having a supplement that has a Main ingredient with Only a 4% absorption rate!!!! I REALLY WISH THEY WOULD GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL FORMULA!!!!! Even the front of the Bottle Says QUAD - meaning 4 Not 5!! And also states 4 High Absorption forms (which is technically true) But they don't say is that NOW they have filled that capsule with MOSTLY A 5th magnesium that is Oxide which has a laxative effect & ONLY has a 4% Absorption rate. RIDICULOUS!!!! Deceptive Marketing!!!! I used to sing Praises about this supplement & told everyone I met to buy this. Now everyone is looking to me to find them another Magnesium product All Because They changed the formula & NONE of us feels as good as we use too when we had the ORIGINAL FORMULA! They turned what used to be a great supplement into COMPLETE GARBAGE!!! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I struggle with anxiety, and this makes the "fight or flight" feeling in my stomach disappear. If I miss a few days, I'm fighting back tears when the stress of the day comes. I can't stop the stress, but this helps me deal with it. I depend on this product for energy, too, and I sleep better when I take it. This product has the forms of magnesium I need, all in one, making it less expensive and easier than other brands, I love it and I'm SO thankful for it! I noticed the faint lemon taste before I smelled anything, and it was wonderful to me! I take quite a few pills at night, and I take these last because it helps with the "medicinal" taste some things leave. I plan to keep ordering as long as they offer it :)
