Can you hear the tick eg at night? How load is it?

Fair question, given how many other reviewers have commented on this. From my experience, yes you can hear a tick if you strap the watch to your ear. Wearing it on your wrist or even resting the watch in a quiet room I haven’t noticed any problems (I am not hard of hearing).

Is the strap interchangable?

Only comes with one strap. Can be easily changed though as with any other watch.
