Mineral Body Sunscreen

This does stay a little tacky on the skin. It's matte though and doesn't look shiny. A little bit of setting powder or mineral foundation takes away the stickiness if it's bothersome. This is the only SPF I'm willing to wear every day because it's non-irritation and doesn't trigger acne or clog pores. It's moisturizing on its own and also wears well over other serums. It's quite thick but it does rub in without pilling.

Works super well! I put a just a quarter sized amount on each of my arms when the UV index was 9, and spent an hour in direct sunlight and ended up with literally no sunburn at all. I will say it does leave a bit of a white cast, but I don’t mind that much for how well it works.

If you like sunscreen that goes on thick and sticky that dries down to a chalky, uncomfortable dusty looking coating that does not seem to absorb at all then this is the sunscreen for you.For me, it’s been demoted to yardwork and gardening sunscreen until it’s gone bc it makes me look like a sticky ghastly ghoul with a hoe.In my gloved pic I waited 10-15 mins before swiping my leg twice with the glove using moderate/light pressure. This stuff sits on top of your skin, which is uncomfortable with skin-on-skin contact like legs and arms. Maybe it’s designed to sit on top, I don’t know. I just know that I don’t love it.My husband doesn’t mind it. I’m a sensitive sensory type that can’t stand scratchy tags, stickiness, seams, loud, bright, etc so if you’re sensory like me I encourage you to skip this one.

I have papulopustular Rosacea and allergic contact dermatitis. I must wear sunscreen on my entire body on a daily basis.I appreciate that this product is truly fragrance free and doesn't contain any other Balsam of Peru allergens like Aloe and other plant derived oils, butters, tree products, and other plant/tree ingredients that are allergens for BoP allergy sufferers.This sunscreen leaves a very noticeable white cast, even if you rub it in for several minutes. I am very fair skinned and it is still very noticeable.It takes at least an hour to dry enough so that you can comfortably wear clothing. It never actually fully dries and skin will feel tacky through the entire day.I will say that I did not have any skin rashes or rosacea breakouts from this suncream and it actually was soothing on my ultra painful Rosacea face. However, it was very difficult to apply to my ultra painful face bc the cream is so thick and havy and requires extensive rubbing in.If I can't comfortably wear it on a daily basis and if it makes my pale face look white, then this is not the product for me.I'm so disappointed. It's so difficult to find products that are truly BoP free.

I used EWG to find the least harmful sunscreen. Any mineral sunscreen will leave be hard to blend in. But so far so good: not excessively greasy or waxy, no rash or acne yet. I ordered unscented

I brought it on my vacation to Cuba and it prevented me from getting a tan. It worked very well because that is what sun screen is supposed to do, so the final day to get a tan I didn’t end up wearing any. I do not have sensitive skin, so I would prefer something with a little less protection, but for those with small children and sensitive skin this will work perfectly. Be mindful that you do have to rub it in a little more to remove that white layer, but I have experimented with multiple natural sunscreens and that seems to be a common theme.

I have tried a few different brands for EWG rated mineral sunscreen (Earth Mama, Badger, All Good, Raw Elements). This I have found to be the easiest to apply and it stands up to sweat as long as you apply indoors about 15 minutes before going outside. As you apply it is is more liquid and spreads easier than others and then it seems to set in place shortly after applying. I used this for a day on and in the water in Cabo and only got slightly burned on my back where I was not able to reapply easily.

This definitely prevents sunburn. However, it's so thick that it stays white where you leave it and is very hard to spread. It sticks to your hands unless you wash them immediately after. I tried rubbing it in my hands first to make it easier to apply and that only made it worse. Everything just stuck to my hands. I can only use this when I am still home and have the option to wash hands after applying. I cannot use this while out at the beach to reapply - everything sticks to my hands after.

Fantastic and clean sunscreen. It does leave a slight white cast on your skin but it lasts a long time! My kids skin doesn’t react to it and there is not a harsh smell.

This sunscreen is thick and not the best to apply but I have followed the suggestion of Kailey Dunlop (a reviewer) to mix it with your moisturizer. I put a dab of sunscreen on the back of my hand, add 1 drop of argan oil and it mixes beautifully and spreads easily. It makes your skin look lovely and any white residue vanishes in a few seconds. I don't know if it diminishes the effect of the sunscreen but one can't go wrong with argan oil and the sunscreen is still there. I believe that the thickness of the sunscreen is an indicator that it protects well. I like Attitude products and it's Canadian.

J'ai acheté la crème solaire minérale pour un voyage et elle assure une bonne protection. Par contre elle est épaisse et si vous avez chaud, la couleur blanche de la crème ressort sur votre corps ce qui peut être un peu dérangeant. Autrement, elle est efficace.

Finally a mineral sunscreen with safe ingredients that doesnt leave a white paste. Highly recommend

It goes on smoothly, provides excellent protection, and most importantly, it uses clean mineral ingredients that I feel good about putting on my skin and my family’s. Unlike some mineral sunscreens, it rubs in fairly well without leaving a heavy white cast, especially after a few minutes.It’s fragrance-free, non-irritating, and feels lightweight even during long days outside. I also appreciate that it’s reef-safe and eco-friendly — a big plus for summer trips and beach days.This is now my go-to sunscreen, and I’ll definitely repurchase. Highly recommend for anyone looking for safe and effective sun protection.
