Works great on the Great Lakes
I like this because it's the same diameter as 25 pound monofilament line. That means I can get more backing behind it and the chances of getting spooled by an angry Chinook salmon are much less! It also means I can use a 45 series reel for a full 10 color setup. That makes the reel substantially less expensive! I have several reels that have been spooled up with this line for 4 seasons and have no sign of failing any time soon.

No strength factor
As a guide for many years, I was a regular user of "Tuff Line", having used the 12#. I purchased two spools of 27# micro-thin, thinking I could get basically the same results with more strength. The line parted between the first & second color for no reason? I attached a new nail knot and let out 8 1/2 colors. The first light strike I had, parted the line again, In disgust, I threw the maining line in my trash bag. I returned both spools. The best part of my experience is having Amazon make the situation right with my refund. I would give Amazon Prime 5 stars.

Works great for trolling
Used about half section for trolling and it worked great.

Colors look as good as new after over one season of fishing.
After using this line for over a year the colors are still bright. I haven't noticed any difference it depth per color compared to the old lead core i replaced. I purchased this line for my brother this year. He confirms no notiecable difference in depth

The lead core pops out of the coating the minute you try to use it. Way overpriced .

I like the smaller diameter, on first use you can expect some line dye bleed which can stain your clothes. Definatly not the same sink rate as conventional leadcore but adjustments made i do like the line so far. Using it primarily for tube and worm for striped bass. I would purchase again and i find the line is much stronger then listed LB test, and seems to hold knots well. This is my first season using line and so far we have done very well with this new line.

Worked Fine
I bought this to put on a smaller reel and it worked fine the first time. We'll see how it holds up.
