Worked as advertised! Made my room more clean-looking.
I live in a small apartment with no washer or dryer so I keep 2 small Haier units plugged into my kitchen, with the wires running across my hallway. For a long time, we just covered the wires with a rug, but now that we have cats who love to tangle themselves up in rugs and sometimes pee on then, it was time to make an upgrade. The cord protector did arrive rolled up tight and hard to flatten, but we just rolled it in the opposite direction and put some weight on it for a few minutes, and it flattened out just fine. If it had stuck, I'd have just doused it in hot water or used a hair dryer to relax the rubber. We trimmed ours into 2 pieces and managed to fit 2 cords into each part, which totally solved our wire problem. We didn't use any adhesive because we need to be able to sweep under that area, but haven't had any issues with it moving or sliding. Overall, solid product! Wish it was a little cheaper, but whatever.

Keeps cords safe underfoot, but a bit lightweight
Thanks for clarifying — since this Legrand Wiremold is designed as a floor cord cover (not just a wall channel), here’s a revised take: --- Keeps cords safe underfoot, but a bit lightweight I picked up this Legrand Wiremold floor cord cover to deal with some cords running across a walkway. At 5 feet, it’s a useful length for most small setups, and the ivory color doesn’t stand out too much on light flooring. It definitely makes things look tidier and reduces the tripping hazard. The low profile helps it blend in, and the channel is just wide enough for a couple of standard power cords or several thinner cables. Cutting it to size is pretty easy with a utility knife, and once laid flat, it stays in place decently on hard surfaces. Where it falls short is durability and weight. The plastic is thinner than I expected, and it has a tendency to shift around if people walk on it frequently, especially on smooth floors like tile or wood. I found that taping down the ends helped. It also doesn’t handle bulky plugs very well—you really want to run just the cord itself through. Bottom line: A practical, inexpensive solution to cover and protect cords across the floor, but you’ll likely need to secure it better if it’s in a high-traffic area.

Low to the ground
This is a low cord cover. I was trying to get one that is as flat as possible. It only holds one thick cord or maybe 1-3 small standard cords. I had to almost bend it in half backwards to get it to open to put the cord in but it worked and is giving me the results we hoped for. I have not used the adhesive as I am using this on carpet. I did have to lay this out in the sun by a window and have heavy things on each end to straighten it out but I expected that based on other reviews. I bought two and had to cut one shorter. It was very difficult to cut because this is very sturdy plastic but I got it done.

Good product with one serious flaw (see picture)
This is a good product with one significant problem. The material is heavyweight, it's easy to insert cords in the back groove, and the beveled edges reduce tripping hazard compared to just having a bare cord running across the floor. The problem is that the product arrives tightly coiled in the box, and the last foot or so is actually coiled in the reverse direction, presumably for some efficiency in the manufacturing process. The result is that the last 1 1/2 to 2 feet are bent in an S-shape, and the material doesn't return to flat, even after being out of the package for a while. I tried bending it back into shape, setting it out in the sun in the hope that the heat would help it settle, but it remains stubbornly bent. The curve is so strongly set into the material that the included adhesive tape won't keep it stuck to the floor. I'll probably have to just cut off the last foot or two, but then I'll end up with a much shorter cover than what I ordered. Good product, but the poor way it was sent means I can only use about half of the strip.

Brown Version Works Well with Dark Hardwood Floors
I did not expect any brown plastic to match perfectly with brown wood. With that it mind, it works very well with dark hardwood floors. PROS: • I was able to cover a very thick surge protector cord (14 AWG). • Although it is not as beautiful as my wood floor, it is infinitely better than the white power cord running along my baseboards. • It is heavy, so it lays flat. • It is trip-proof. • It is easy to clean • It is the best option available to cover wires that run along you floor • It is relatively inexpensive for something that will last forever (currently $24 for 15') • It cuts easily with a pair of scissors to make smaller lengths. CONS: • It is cheap plastic (but you knew that) • It looks cheap plastic (but you knew that). • It will probably not match any natural material, such as wood, stone, tile, etc. (but you knew that) • It is uncomfortable to step on while barefoot, because it is convex. It's not too bad while wearing shoes. I liked it so much that I purchased a second cover in the 50' length. I will run it behind my couch and cover lamp cords, an ethernet cable and speaker wires.

Perfect for cables at ground level
This is the second time I have bought this particular device. I use it to hide the cables going to my surround sound speakers behind me. My living room is hardwood floors, which means hiding cables under a rug is out of the question. This things are well-made, they feel hefty on our thickly constructed With plastic that I am sure we last for quite a while. I also like the fact that they come with adhesive strips to keep them from moving. However, I decided not to use them, so as not to create any kind of residue buildup on my hardwood floors. My only complain, is that they are so thick, that, because they come rolled in a square box, I usually have to use a heat gun when they arrive, in order to soften them up enough that they will lay flat on the floor. However, this is a minor inconvenience, and I will certainly deal with it, if it means keeping my cables protected and preventing people from running into the cables and tripping.

Tip - lie in sun or a warm area to straighten out before use

Great item to have and hubby hasn’t complained about the wire across the floor.

Use it to cover air pipe for my fish tank across the living room, works every well. However, it's not ivory, more like light brown. So if you have white floor tile and was thinking of masking it, sorry!
