Works really well, I've been getting 2 layers of paint off my front door, back to the wood. Heats up quickly, easy to use, all the tools included, a great piece of kit.

I primarily got this SEEKONE hot air gun for my 3D printing hobby, specifically for helping to mould or form certain prints, and it's been an excellent tool for the job. What initially attracted me was the price. It was significantly cheaper than many other professional-grade models, but it absolutely does the job I need it to, making it fantastic value for money. It heats up very quickly, which is a massive plus when you just want to do a quick adjustment. The variable temperature control is the most important feature for my use case. It gives me the fine control I need to soften PLA or PETG prints for moulding or smoothing without just melting them into a mess. The lower temperature settings are perfect for this. The gun itself feels sturdy and well-built, not at all like a cheap tool. It's comfortable to hold, and the overload protection gives me a bit of peace of mind. The included accessories are a really nice bonus, especially the concentrator nozzles, which are great for focusing the heat on a specific part of a 3D print. Overall, I can't complain. It's a powerful, versatile hot air gun that was much cheaper than the big-name brands but performs brilliantly. Highly recommended for other hobbyists or for general DIY tasks.

Great heat gun made stripping old paint of a staircase easy at an affordable price

This is the first time I've purchased and used a heat gun so I have nothing to compare it against. I found that the kit appears to cover a lot of scope not just stripping paint. But that is what I purchased it for, it comes with a range of different nozels, a scraper and a handle to attach different blades like a contour blade for handrails. I was unsure what setting would be needed as there is only + or -, no actual temperature reading so it was trail and error to see how hot i needed it to start to heat the paint without damaging the woodwork. Start low and work up, the instructions also mention to bring up to temp before pointing it at the surface you wish to heat which is good advice otherwise you could over heat and not know of the temp worked or just heating it for longer played a part. Overall I am happy with the heat gun and all the extras, I didn't use the scraper only due to buying a larger one with an angled edge with I found to be better, also the little metal stand at the base of thr handle is okay but it's flimsy so I wouldn't use it to hold the heat gun in place while using it. I could see someone getting hurt if it was knocked and fell. I would recommend it, for the price you get a lot and it made my work much easier and the results were very positive. Back to paint stripping!

Works well and plenty of nozzles. I used for model aircraft coverings and works really well, but get some heat proof gloves.

We're doing up our house, the woodwork has been painted again and again over about 40 years' and so has thick yellowed, running paint which has annoyed me since the day we moved in about 18 months ago. It is a massive and time consuming task and the thought of paint remover being inhaled and remaining lingering in the house was not very appealing hence purchasing this. Whilst I have what feels like a lifetime of paint to remove the task has been started and I'm actually enjoying it. It's kind of therapeutic watching the paint bubble up and then scraping 200 layers of paint off to reveal the wood that hasn't seen daylight since the 70's. The gun is easy to use, the attachments I've used so far have been good, it heats up quickly, cools down pretty quickly too and is making a very tedious task easier to tackle. I have discovered that the stairs have not only been painted but also varnished. This took the paint layers off and then dealt with the varnish layer well too, bit by bit the wood is being revealed and without this gun I'm not sure what approach I could have taken. There is some smell but it clears quickly and is not anything like the smell that paint remover creates. I have two children and animals and a set of lungs myself that I value so paint remover was not the top of my list. If like me, you need something to help tackle the dreaded over painted surfaces of the past then I can recommend this gun as a pretty cheap, easy and effective tool that does the job.
