I have been taking Nettle extract for about a year for arthritis pain but always in capsules. But I wanted to cut down on the mountain of supplements in pill form that I take so ordered this powder to add to my morning supplement liquid concoction. This powder mixes right and does not really alter the taste of my concoction. So I am slurping this stuff down each morning and am a happy camper. My pocket book is also happy since this bulk Nettle extract is much less expensive than buying the pills. Update: 04/09/18 I like this nettle extract so much I bought a bag of it for my daughter who also suffers from arthritis. Great stuff!

I like ordering from Bulk Supplements because of the high quality / low price combination. The packages have weight per 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, etc teaspoon, but a 20-dollar milligram scale is a good investment. While I like the taste of nettle root (I mix it in a little olive oil), when you get something with an unpleasant taste, the newer capsule filling machines are easy to use and a good investment.

Love Bulk Supplements, their products are great. I wish some of them did not clump up as much but I used a hand mixer or hot water to help with that. I also wish they would provide a scoop (even if it’s only a cheap one). I know they are selling in bulk and that is the point, but I can’t seem to find 1/5 of a tsp or other example like that and I just have to guess and hope I’m doing the correct amount with a little more or less of a 1/4 of a tsp scoop. Otherwise I love these products.

I usually order more expensive root extract. This works just as well. revitalizing. I mix it w/ bitter melon to reduce the sting.

Really seems to help with pain associated with arthritis and bone injury. I'd been taking nettle extract for a few months before August, when I had a show-down with a nissan in a crosswalk, a win for me since I came out with only 4 broken ribs and some ruptured discs. If you have osteoarthritis in your spine and degenerative disc disease I do not recommend the nissan massage. I'm a half inch shorter. Combined with very careful dosing of acetaminophen according to label, and ibuprofen as directed, the nettle seems to fill in a gap. Twice I've been reminded to take my powder when discomfort seemed to worsen. I'm healing incredibly fast considering my age (58 yo), my road rash was mostly gone in a week, eight weeks later no scars except the cut on my face. I attribute the rapid healing to my Herbal and Amino stacks I've been using for a year now, several months prior to the accident. I build my stacks with economical Bulk Supplements I subscribe to through Amazon.

Every time I try to add a photo of this product that deletes my comments. This is a poor review due to the fact that this product has maltodextrin Which is an unhealthy filler. Don’t be fooled by the word organic. Maltodextrin Is also high in carbs.

We added this to our supplements because my husband wanted to try it for his enlarged prostate. It wasn't in stock in the capsules :) so I purchased the powder. We put approximately 1/3 tsp. in a condiment cup and mix it with a bit of water. He takes it 2 to 3 times a day. I take it once. The taste isn't GREAT, but it ain't bad either.

I just finished 250 grams which equals 250,000 milligrams [economical] it is a bitter powder that mixes well in hot drinks and of course blended. Coffee and tea are optimal in hiding the bitter taste. After finishing this product I have noticed the following I'm able to urinate longer and actually totally empty my bladder, this is something I have not been able to do for the past 5 years, I am 67 year old male. Bulk Supplements have always been very economical in the supplement business and has always delivered the goods very well. This is now a permanent addition to my diet.
