This fan is a lifesaver
I meant to write a review earlier but the good news about waiting is you get to hear what several months of use is like compared to if I just received the item and quickly wrote about it. 2020 has been a heck of a year..I bought this in the beginning of summer. I have purchased many battery powered fans over the year and have always been disappointed, even by the best one. Finally the battery power (this fan being my first rechargeable fan) and fan speed/efficiency that I have been looking for is here. I bought the 16" large version (without hose hookup) because I didn't want to risk a smaller version leaving me wanting more power, however, I convinced my parents to buy the 12" version with the hose hookup so I know what the smaller size can handle. I am glad I got the bigger fan but the smaller fan (albeit less power) gives my parents what they were looking for, especially with the hose vapor hookup.I go camping and I also like to lounge in my backyard on hot days so I bought a fan that would be portable. I was instantly attracted to the quiet sound this fan made while being able to be legitimately powerful. It might not give you the highest power I've ever seen from an electric fan that is large and in charge but for a wireless fan, this did what I hoped for. I love the speed control knob that let's me fine tune how much power I want to give. The more power, the less battery time you get (higher power range will give you only 2-3 hours, medium power can last a full night). But when you use it on a lower power it is still a good output and the battery will last a full day (maybe 16-20 hours or so). That said, a lot depends on the placement of the fan. On a really hot day, you may need to put the fan a lot closer to you for the effect. But if you have the ability to put the fan really close to you then even the lower power levels will be effective on very hot days.I also started using the fan while working from my house during the pandemic. My work area would get hot regularly and the fan on low chilled me plenty and was nice and quiet with very little vibration. I use it plugged in a lot as well. Then, it happened. There was a terrible storm and the power went out on a hot week for 7 days. Luckily I was prepared with this fan. It was so hot and I was so uncomfortable but this fan made it possible to sleep in my bedroom (I used another fan plugged into a generator). The fan was small enough to fit on my tv table by the bed so this fan blowing on us did a lot more than the larger fan on the ground that was plugged in. I even borrowed my parents smaller fan since their power did not fail them and so I had alternating rechargeable fans going from this company. Another thing that comes in handy is how quickly it charges from 0% to 100%...maybe a couple of hours.I'm a big.....fan.....of this product. :)

💨 🌬 Easy, Breezy, Beautiful FAN Outside 💨 🌬
The media could not be loaded. I've been having this fan for a while now, and will be getting another due to my large boxer dog sitting right in front of it, blocking my airflow, to keep the bugs away! Air hog!Is the fan worth the money? I was hesitant to fork out the cash, BUT its worth every penny! EVERY! PENNY!Powerful fan. High setting gives about an hours worth of use, HOWEVER, high setting is very high, and I can't think of many uses for such power.I use my fan on about 1/3 speed and it lasts 3-4 hours, keeping me cool, and the bugs away, which is wonderful!Takes just under an hour to get a full charge. Another plus.I live in Louisiana, in a very hot and humid climate. I use this fan for the better part of the year to keep me cool, and maybe even more importantly, to keep the swamp mosquitos at bay!!I don't have an outlet/receptacle to plug a fan outdoors near where I spend a lot of my time.I also take this fan with me places for gatherings and events that are held outdoors. - Very light weight and easy to carry around.Everyone asks where I got the fan from, and compliments on the power and ease of tote, of the Geek Aire fan.Once, it came in use for an elderly and handicap person, who was trying to keep cool at a Louisiana baby shower held outdoors. I couldn't watch her in un-comfort, so I let her borrow the fan, and she was so grateful. The battery lasted for the entire baby shower. Thats including before and during. ...with a little juice to spare. :)I've also taken it to a campground, and birthday parties.I've used it to help the dry time paint on doors that I painted.I use it to quickly move it from one location to the other to dry mopped floors. I use it alllll the time!!The battery charge has held up very well in my heavy use of the fan.I have always been more than happy to have it! - That's actually quite an understatement!!Noise? Please refer to the video for your own judgement. Please be sure to have your volume on.I would say it depends on if fan noise bothers you, or if you need quiet for a particular reason... and it actually depends on the speed the fan is set to.The fan is almost mute on low setting. On high setting, the fan puts out a fair amount of noise, but that noise is comforting to me.I sleep with a fan near my bed, in an already freezing cold house, because I like the sound of a fan drowning out all other sounds. Its comforting. With that said... No matter the speed setting, the noise does not bother me, and I can still hear the birds chirping :)The fan is extremely light and easy to tote around.I would, AND DO, recommend this fan to everyone!! Seriously, check my reviews. I don't leave many reviews, and I don't push products!!This is an item that I use every day! And also, before the summer hits, I'm going to be getting at least one more, to offset my air hog dog!
