Up, Up and Away: A Book about Adverbs (World of Language)

A great book used to teach adverbs. However it is quite lengthy. I often divide it up and use it for several days.

I give her nature books grandkids, friends kids, whomever and they are wonderful. My first grade grandson is enchanted by the rhymes and illustrations in this one.

then get this book adverbs and how we use them. Heller also has beautifully drawn books about interjections, nouns, adjectives, verbs and more. Each one presents the purpose of the part of speech in left brain and filled-with-wonder drawings that will not bore the average child or adult. study them and your language and your writing will improve.

The Ruth Heller series of books related to parts of language are beautifully illustrated and easy to read. At times, the vocabulary is complex, but all the parts of speech are covered in magnificent colors.

Love Ruth Heller books, have them all, give them as gifts. Beautiful language, awesome pictures. Engaging and bright. Keep the kids attention. For our 5 yr., 9yr., 4yr. And 2yr. Old grandkids. Loved by all including me. Pure enjoyment with sneaky education.

We have the language series by Ruth Heller, and love it. The illustrations are incredible, and really help make learning language fun. Plus, we use the books for our homeschool art classes too! They are a tremendous inspiration for the girls when painting.

My kiddos enjoyed this book with a lesson.
