Love this little garden lighthouse. It has a revolving solar light so it looks really nice outside. It is not large but looks lovely sitting on my deck (or in my garden). More durable than the last one I had. It is plastic but much sturdier. Great for the price.

I loved this when I got it. It's nice looking and the light revolving was a really nice touch. It stopped working a few days ago so I popped the top part off where the light is, only to find the battery compartment area FULL of water and the battery and contacts corroded. I think it's probably history, though I'll try drying it out and sanding the contacts and replacing the battery. Apparently if I can get it to work again, it will also need to be waterproofed in some fashion because, although it is supposed to be able to be used outside, clearly the rain finds its way in and ruins it after just a few weeks. What a disappointment after an initial surge of happiness. Update: I bought a rechargable battery to see if I could get it to work again, but apparently all the water inside damaged the inner workings so it is now basically a paperweight. An expensive paperweight. Too bad the company doesn't care enough to make good on something that was obviously their fault, since this was NOT waterproof as it claimed.

I was very unhappy when the reflector quit revolving, after we had a couple of rainy days. I turned it upside down and water ran out of it. It was one month to the day that it quit revolving. I figured it needed to be dried out, since it was in the hot sun all day, it did dry out. Today it started to revolving again. I”m a Happy Camper!!! I turned the black part to the left and it came apart, it has to be replaced at a certain point or it doesn’t fit down evenly. I also replaced the Rechargeable Battery Ni-MH1.2V min. 1900mAh AA HR6, there was a 300mAh battery in it. I placed a clear glass flower pot which comes down below the black portion of upper part, it should keep the rain out of it.

Works well we love the rotating light beacon. However we are disappointed on its height comes in shorter than description.

When you get one, do two things. Like most items with battery your better off the change to a quality one and second, make sure the light house base has holes under the light unit and base to drain water. Drill slowly. These were bought to add to the ones I have for outside. With a full day of sun they can run to the sun rising. Also for displays I run. After the two minor fixes. These are well worth the price. Once or twice a year just rotate the battery for good contact.

It only worked for maybe 1 week. It filled up with water when it rained, and now it's just rusted and won't work, but it still looks good.

I love this light house but if there is not enough light to charge it during the day it will not work at night.

Loved it the first few weeks, until the lighthouse stopped turning. Still lights up, but no longer spins and unfortunately it stopped days after the 30-day return policy. Still cute, but very disappointed in the quality of the mechanism and the willingness of the seller to either return the product or provide a replacement.

The product is only 10 inches high, not the 15 inches advertised, so I wanted to return it but it says it’s not returnable because it is a product that may contain oil, go figure!, so I am extremely unhappy with the product especially considering how much it cost. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone for any reason.
