Instructions don’t match

Purchased this for my son last Christmas. Every time I asked him about completing this project he spoke of issues with the instructions. Finally got a chance to look into it and he’s correct. I see now that others have spoke of the same issue with the instructions not matching the parts they have. Don’t recommend this product!
