Nothing too special about this lock. I needed to replace the lock on a desk and this looked pretty close to the one had. Worked well. It’s a pretty popular lock so it fit just fine. Keys work and functions as expected.

These locks fit my filing cabinet perfectly. However, I don't understand why you would cell a pair of locks with the two locks being keyed differently. I probably should have returned the locks, but I decided to just accept having to have two keys.

Replaced locks on a roll top desk I bought from a friend. She did not have keys for them. They work and look just like the old locks.

There was only 2 of 4 mounting screws and the lock outer ring was missing. i needed to use it as it was because the lockbox was being taken to another location. I used 2 screws that I was able to find and send it without the outer ring.

Nice lock, unfortunately the locking washer is too loose and cannot be fully tightened. I had to apply glue to the threads and let first layer dry slightly, then added a second light layer and tightened as best I could and let dry completely. I bought this mainly to fill the open hole where the lock was missing, I'm not sure how this would hold up with daily use.
