My pc thinks its an Xbox controller amd ut works perfect with every game. I even use it to emulate old retro games when im in the mood. To use it as a ps5 controller on your pc you can download a program called DS4 for windows or something like that. Great price, great controller. Currently playing Claire Obscure 33 and It runs like butter.

The controller looks amazing, and every button is easily operable with no issues (such as sticking or turning). The joysticks are smooth and click nicely when pressed, and every function translates perfectly to a first-party Xbox 360 controller. The vibrating motors inside are somewhat weaker than Microsoft-produced controllers, but for some people (myself included) this comes as an advantage, due to them being quieter and less disruptive. As stated in the product's description, it's not made to work with an actual Xbox 360 (I even tried out of curiosity) but works beautifully with PCs and is detected as a standard Xbox 360 controller when it's in XInput mode. Overall, I'd highly recommend this controller to anyone who dislikes the strange layout of the Xbox controller (which was the #1 reason for my purchasing this controller). EDIT: Two and a half months later, and the controller is still with me and hasn't shown any signs of dreaded dead zones yet, which is amazing. The controller still feels like new (despite my using it just about daily) and one thing I'd forgotten to put in my original review is that the D-pad is absolutely stellar. It's very decisive and not mushy at all, which is beautiful. After a while with the controller, I can confidently say that it's a perfect choice for just about any type of gaming, and the low cost complements it greatly.

The controller worked perfectly with my games. No issues with drivers or anything. It's about the size of the original PS3 controllers which was especially useful for me since I have issues with my left hand due to nerve damage. Larger controllers are harder to use because I simply couldn't open my hand enough to comfortably reach all of the buttons. But there are drawbacks. The R2 and L2 buttons are not trigger style like the PS4 style controllers and are a bit soft. You really got to press down sometimes to register a button press. They seem pressure sensitive but would still miss occasional button presses. The cord length is adequate but could definitely be longer. And there is a weird issue where if you like leaving your controller plugged in even when not in use, Windows will not go to sleep or start the screen saver. So if you have your computer set to sleep after a certain amount of time, be sure to unplug the controller. The inability for Windows to start the screen saver could cause screen burn-in if you're not careful since your monitor won't turn off and enter power save mode.

I've bought two. They both failed to similar issues in not that many hours of use. [less than 200hrs each]. The first got slightly abused via a pet, juice, and baking soda incident involving gravity. Both Newton and Rube Goldberg would be pleased. I had it for a few years but barely used it. I gave it the benefit of a doubt and bought another. The left stick started pulling to the left and would make my New Vegas Character turn slowly while idle. The new one that I have only had five months and sat idle for three of those, has developed issues with the back button [or "select" as my old brain wants to call it. lol] It either won't trigger or won't stop once it starts. So save your money, go elsewhere. Also, just as an aside, I'm going to stop buying things with thousands of reviews. I have problems believing that 6k+ of these have been sold... how many people actually post a review of what they bought, so amazon is telling me that 10s of thousands of folks have this controller and are using it?

Ok, so I was on the fence about this product for a really long time. I Prefer this Playstation style layout over the Xbox360 style layout ( Zhidong N Full Vibration Feedback USB Wired Controller Gamepad Joystick For Windows XP/7/8/8.1/10 & Android & PS3 (Xbox360 Style) Black&Red - Not support the Xbox 360 ) and this one was about five bucks cheaper. Considering the price point, this controller absolutely rocks. Very affordable, feels good in my hands, buttons are responsive, not too heavy or light. The ability to manually swap functionality from the D-Pad to the Left stick is also incredible. The only real drag about it at face value is it has a very short wire. I had been putting off reviewing this controller, however, because i wasn't sure for sure, but i thought i may have been experiencing something weird about it, but i wanted to give it a lot more playtime to be absolutely sure. After a few months of constant use, I'm very sure this is happening! Very infrequently, I'll be pushing the RIGHT D-Pad button, and it will trigger as though i pressed L1(the Left Bumper). Not sure how this could be a thing, but it's happened probably a consistent 10% of the time. Not usually a deal breaker, but SOMETIMES it absolutely destroys what i'm trying to do, in game. Also, the right button on the face of the pad (The B button, or the circle button for you PS heads) needs a bit more pressure than the others. I'll be holding it without waver and suddenly i'll notice the character on the screen has stopped doing whatever that button is supposed to command until i press a little harder. As a result of these two things, the controller isn't perfect and sometimes leaves my thumbs a little sore because i find myself pressing harder than i should to make sure they work. If it weren't for those two issues, this would definitely be a five star controller.

My boy's review (8yr): This controller is amazing! I was a little nervous buying it but when I got it and tried It I was like WHOA! It is such a good controller! I will say I wish it did have a reset and turbo button and I don't remember ever testing the vibration but otherwise I love it! PS: I have tested it on minecraft Windows 10 And It Worked Perfectly! *EDIT* It's about a year and a half later, and although we are super careful of it and only use it a couple hours a week, we have started noticing that the controller has begun to show some deterioration in terms of response time, and sometimes does not respond at all. When this happens, we can sometimes unplug the controller and plug it back in, but regardless of the gaming system we're using it with, it seems to be gradually overcome by some kind of technological dementia. Cosmetically, this controller appears flawless, but as I said, we take really good care of our stuff (this item especially because my son used his hard-earned chore money ($23 at the time) to buy it after days of research). The amount of use and care we give doesn't seem commensurate to aging at this rate. If you decide to purchase this controller (it is a very nice item otherwise), be sure you are familiar with the warranty conditions.

It's a one of the best remotes out there in the market. I'm highly impressed by its qualtiy. Highly recommended product.

Works on Windows 11 laptop with Steam games without any set up needed. Good price but not sure how long it will last as the joysticks tend to go quickly with similar ones I have had in the past. I do prefer this layout with the side-by-side joysticks to the more modern design with the d pad where the left stick is.
