Love it!
We absolutely LOVE this cradle. It is incredible quality, being able to rock it is a fantastic feature, and it fits perfectly next to the bed. I love that you can see through the sides and it is light and easy to move from room to room if necessary - we did that a lot when my daughter was a newborn so she could sleep in the living room during the day. It is expensive, but you absolutely get what you pay for. It looks great, but most importantly Baby Bjorn is famous for their attention to detail and use of only top quality, baby-safe materials, and that was what was most important to us. Has truly been worth every penny.

Checks off all the boxes on our list...
My Husband and I purchased this as part of our Amazon registry close out order. I could hardly wait to receive this particular item. We wanted something simple, lightweight and generally eye pleasing. We understand that the Bassinet has one purpose to serve, but for us, having a Bassinet that somewhat fit in with our style aesthetic was important too. Assembly was very easy and took less than fifteen minutes. It required one Allen Key and two screws - both of which came with this Bassinet. The Bassinet has a slight bouncy back and forth motion to it that is easily done with the slight push of your hand or perhaps foot. With my Husband being a paraplegic in a wheelchair, the height of this item is just perfect for him to be able to reach the baby and interact with him if I am tending to other things. It is very sturdy yet can easily be picked up and moved from room to room. I LOVE this item and can hardly wait for our little Guy to be sleeping in it right next to our bed in just a matter of weeks now.

Stylish, sturdy and lightweight
I love this bassinet. It’s high quality and simple design. I was looking for stylish low tech rocking bassinet, that is safe. Love the net all around it. The height work for us and our bed. The con is that it’s small. Our baby being 95 percentile in height will fit in there only for 2 months. It might serve longer for premature babies. That regard it’s an expensive sleeping arrangement that serves only two months.

Wonderful cradle, though a tad small
When shopping around for a cradle/bassinet, I was looking for several things: 1) I don't want to buy a bulky, electronic moving cradle that contains a cord that could trip me or my wife, especially in the middle of the night; 2) I want to buy something that is built well, and safe for the child, not just to sleep in, but to breathe in and out without worrying about inhaling harmful chemicals; 3) I want to purchase something that is light and portable, which would allow me to move from the bedroom to other places in my house. The Babybjorn Cradle fits all three of these requirements. It is very light, and while it is able to rock very gently, it relies solely on the baby's own movement (or the hands of a parent/caretaker) to make it rock gently. I don't know if my baby actually uses the rocking movement to put himself back to sleep, but I guess there's no way I can find out. The cradle is extremely well-built. Like other Babybjorn products, it is simple, yet very sturdy. The materials used were fantastic. It's clean, sleek, and strong. It is certified to have no harmful chemicals, so I don't have to worry about the baby breathing in harmful or even toxic fumes from paints or anything (the cradle has almost no surface area with paint). The cradle is light-weight, allowing me to carry it out to the living room during the day when baby needs a nap, and mommy wants to stay in the living room instead of retrieving to the bedroom. The legs of the cradle spread out wide enough for the cradle to be sturdy; the only drawback is that the width sometimes makes it tricky for me to carry it through a rather narrow hallway in my home. The only thing I don't like about this cradle is its size. My son is now two months old, and he is probably two or three weeks away from outgrowing the cradle. He is not a tall or big child by all means (he is 11.5 pounds now), but there is already little room for his arms to move around. We are also about to run out of head room and leg room as well. Like other Babybjorn products, this cradle is not cheap. For what I think will be three months of use (max), I still find it worthwhile because it allows the baby to sleep very close to mom and dad without bed-sharing, something many parents are very reluctant to do. I felt I paid extra for a good quality, safe product that allowed me to maximize the valuable quality time spent with my little one - I would recommend it for other parents who are willing to pay a little extra for the added quality.

Just the right bassinet!
This is a well-designed, great looking bassinet. The breathable mesh siding is essential for cradles. I've found my baby with her face against the side many times while rooting for food. It's also nice to have the slight transparency when you're several feet away. A few days after receiving it, I used a seam ripper to carefully remove the two big warning labels at the top of the long sides. I know they have to be there when this thing's sold but I don't want to read "SUFFOCATION HAZARD" in huge letters every time I rock my child. The only thing I'd do to change the cradle is make it at least 4 inches taller. It sits very low next to most beds (unless you have a platform bed) which makes it a bit strenuous picking up and putting down the baby in the middle of the night when you're already exhausted. Size wise, we expect our daughter to outgrow this at about 5 months old. Sheet Tip: I purchased two fitted sheets made specifically to go with the BabyBjorn cradle design from a seller on Etsy. I recommend this over the expensive plain white sheet that BabyBjorn sells.

Beautiful Bassinet!
This bassinet is beautiful! I was so happy to find a bassinet that is safe while also being light, portable and minimalistic. Was worried from reading reviews that it would be extremely small but looks like the perfect size bassinet for the first four or five months (shown in front of a king size bed). Verifying that the sides of the bassinet are covered with warning labels but that they are easy to take off with a seam ripper and scissors (use seam ripper for sides not sewn into seams and cut with fabric scissors above seams and then can easily pull out the rest). I also purchased the Kushies organic bassinet sheet from Amazon and it was a perfect fit for the mattress which seems of great quality to me!

Very expensive for such a small sheet. Which is unfortunate as the cradle is already pricey. But, they do fit perfectly even after several washes in warm water. We hang them to dry as per the instructions as to not have any shrinkage. It usually takes around 2 hours for one to hang dry. So plenty of time between messes to switch them out if you invested in extra sheets.

This is the only sheet I could find to fit this bassinet. Its just a simple, plain sheet, there is no reason it should have been near this price, however it is functional and fits, that's why I bought it.

Fits great but too expensive.

One should be included with the cradle for the price... It is way too expensive for what it is.

I bought it because it's the recommended sheet for the cradle, but seriously it is expensive!! We bought 2, so a hundred bucks for 2 small sheets that will be used for max 6 months... and most likely less if your baby is like mine and grows fast! At 2 months he's almost too tall for it. Wish it was cheaper or there were safe knock-offs available.
