Himalayan Glow Original Replacement Electric Cord with (ETL Certified) Dimmer Switch (SPT-2)

Ideal replacement cord and dimmer for my salt lamp. I tend to keep it on all the time, and because of slight overheating, the base got crumbly and fell apart when I tried to change the light bulb. The cord arrived in a timely fashion and was identical to the original one; fits the lamp like a glove. Yay, I brought my lamp back to life.

We have one of the medium basket salt lamps. My previous base broke a year ago and I thought I was going to have to trash the whole lamp but ended up putting a candle in it in hopes of keeping it. But, the candle doesn't have the same effect so, I went in search of something better. Was JUST about to buy a whole new lamp when I came across this replacement. It fit PERFECTLY and was super easy to put on. Saved my lamp! Highly recommend.

When the cord to my salt lamp got damaged I was so bummed! I was so excited to see that I could get a replacement but I was skeptical that it would fit incorrectly or be an inferior quality. Boy I am glad I was wrong. It is a perfect fit and I have my salt lamp back up and running!!

I'm so glad I was able to find these replacements cords, because now my lamp is usable again!!! I purchased my first salt lamp from this company in a store, but less than a week later the cord stopped working and I was left disappointed with a huge hunk of salt. Hoping this cord will last a bit longer!

Great replacement! We have our lamp on 24/7. After over a year of use, I noticed the bulb was burned out. I took it apart and the plastic the bulb screwed into disintegrated into a dozen pieces. I was thrilled to see if could get exactly what I needed here on Amazon.

When I ordered my salt lamps, (the larger ones) both of the lightbulbs and units that the lightbulbs went in were damaged. I think because the salt lamp was so heavy that during shipment when tossed around they broke. Obviously I was disappointed. This was the first salt lamp purchase I have made. Of course, the next thing I did instead of waiting to return them and wait for new lamps, I came on here and was so happy to see that these units were available for purchase. I just clicked a few buttons and bam, my new units arrived in two days. They were easy to replace and now everything is all fine and dandy. You just squeeze the metal "clips" on each side and stick back into the lamp.

The original cord that came with my Himalayan Glow light was defective and smelled like it was burning, It was a gift from Arizona so I was not able to return. This new cord works perfectly!

After waiting weeks for this item to become available again, it was literally less than five minutes from the time I opened the Amazon package to the point where the dimmer switch shorted out & blew up in my hand! I'd found one of the bulbs for my salt lamp, placed it in the socket, and turned the dimmer switch on. BAM - one turn and it blew! Scared the bejesus out of me. There was a loud "pop", then that acrid, burning electrical smell. The bulb didn't even blow because the switch blew first. I've never in my life experienced anything like this. I don't know how it's possible for something as simple as a dimmer switch to self-destruct with the frequency reported in the reviews for this & similar products - whether it's due to these switches being made of wrong/faulty materials, errors in the design, or sloppy workmanship in the assembly process - but Amazon should stop carrying this item. The failure rate of these switches is abysmal, and they're just plain dangerous. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE RISK!!

I purchased this replacement cord for a salt lamp and I had for a few weeks, no problems so far. Seems to work very well!

Garbage arrived broken. Would never recommend!!
