Zhumell 10x42 Signature Waterproof Binoculars, Black

When I first opened my Zhumell binoculars, I found a card enclosed thanking me for my purchase and informed me that the complete instruction manual could be downloaded from their website. My husband was questioning me and my need for an instructional manual for binoculars, but I wanted to know of all of the features these binoculars offered. The manual was very thorough and easy to understand. I appreciated the easy adjustments for optimal viewing and focus. I had no idea what interpupillary distance was until I read the manual and found that this is adjusted by moving the barrels of the binoculars closer together or farther apart. The diopter ring in the right eyepiece is very convenient, as is the central focus wheel. The eyecups were easily adjusted by rotating them to accommodate use with or without eyeglasses. When viewing objects at a distance, the images are so clear and vivid. The optics are amazing! These binoculars came with a neck strap to attach, lens caps, and a storage case. The high quality of these Zhumell binoculars makes these an excellent value for the price. I can’t wait to take them to the next baseball game!

What struck me first was how clear these binoculars are to look through. Whether I'm looking at an object close up or far away, these binoculars are perfect. I've used them while out fishing, in my backyard to look at birds and both during the day and at night. I also find them easy to hold and adjust and when I handed them to my mom to try out and she was shocked at high light they are to hold. I've owned a few pairs of binoculars but I have never owned a pair that is this nice. Now I understand why a good pair of binoculars costs a little more money. Living in Southern California I haven't had a chance to test out the waterproof feature, although it has been pretty moist down at the bay when fishing and I haven't seen any moisture form inside the binoculars. Overall I would recommend these to a friend.

I bought these binoculars for use while backpacking. I’m planning to hike the John Muir Trail next year and decided a good pair of binoculars was necessary for the trek. Although I have experience with camera equipment, I don’t have any prior experience with binoculars or sport optics. This means I know a sharp image when I see it, but when it comes to talking about birding, I’m hopeless. As soon as I put the binoculars up to my eye, I was blown away. I wasn’t expecting a bright airy image with perfect contract but that’s what I got. The eyecups perfectly block out any glare from surrounding light, and it’s surprisingly lightweight when compared to comparable binos. I’m in love with these binoculars. I can’t wait to hit the trail with these.

Just unpacked this spectacular binocular. Once I had it in my hand, I can feel the quality of materials used to make this. It has good grip and the optics were great. It's not too heavy to hold. The focus mechanism was smooth and images were crisp and clear. It's so easy to use that my kids enjoys it more than I do.

This is the third binoculars in our house and definitely the best. The ergonomic and sleek design is a definite plus. The near range of 1.2 meters is great. The binoculars are quick and easy to focus. The binoculars are great for use on a boat. The non-fogging lens is extra nice.The rating is 4 stars instead of 5 because one of the plastic hooks on the shoulder harness broke as I was un-packing it. (The shoulder harness was packed with the two end clips hooked to each other.)

Very impressed with the finish and quality of these binoculars. Glass was crisp and clear with very minor distortion on the edges. Exceeds expectations for this price range. Package comes with nice Velcro case and shoulder strap, as well as the binocular harness which is excellent for archery and rifle hunting. Surprised to see the harness included. Caps for lens were a great fit and secure when attached, yet easy to remove. Overall I would recommend to a friend

The focus of these binoculars feels 'soft' to me. Even after repeatedly adjusting the eyepiece, the image, though bright and large, does not 'snap' into focus like on a Nikon Monarch 5. There focus dial is quite stiff. The rubber eyecups easily slip off with resulting risk of loss and the mechanism that allows them to extend does not lock properly.

These binoculars are my husband's favorite to use. He's had a number of binoculars but these are the easiest to use, most comfortable and very clear to see out of.

Great BAK-4 optics quality and a very wide AOV. Recommended.

What else can I say about this top notch binocular. Excellent in every way. Solidly built and well-designed. Bright, good optics and so easy to use. Wish that more binoculars can be built this way (at this price point).
