Most user reviews have the same problem where it doesn't foam up as much. I followed the instructions as closely as I can and it had a medium amount of foaming action but not as much as I expected. I think the step to have a "pencil thin amount of water flowing nearby" is probably a critical part and you really have to dial in the flow just right. That said it made my formerly very stinky sink NOT STINKY and it hasn't re-stunk since I last cleaned it! For me, even with the lukewarm foaming action, that makes this worth it's weight in gold. Maybe it will do an even better job if I can get it to foam up more, but I really couldn't be happier. I had tried every other approach to sink cleaning prior to this and nothing worked or was only temporary, but one use of CLR has lasted me about three weeks now. It doesn't have that weird of a chemical smell when you use it and the smell goes away quickly. I know everybody has a different situation but all I can say is that it cleaned up my sink's garbage disposal very well. If you are at your wits end with a stinky sink, CLR is worth a shot.

Our disposal was a bit stinky - but more noticeable after running the dishwasher. On my first attempt, I only used one pod and I am not sure I had water running for the full 2 minutes. And there was no bubbling foam. So I tried again - with more water - and I put in 2 pods. Got wonderful foam. The scent was fine - it was not overpowering. and it seems the odor is gone. I doubt I'll need to use these weekly - but this did the trick.

I agree with other customers, this product does NOT foam. When I first tried it there was foam but since the first bag there has been nothing. I had a subscription but I have cancelled it and will try another product. Very disappointed that this product doesn’t do what it claims to do.

Have been buying these from the grocery store for years. They work great! HOWEVER, Not a single one from this package worked. Not One. Waste of my money. I'm extremely disappointed. Bought a new pack from the grocery store and it worked perfectly. Ugghh.

I tried this product, following the directions to the letter, and it never foamed up. I tried again the next day and got the same results, nothing. I went to my Amazon to return it and was asked if I wanted another? I didn’t want them to think that I didn’t want a clean garbage disposal so I agreed. I had the replacement within 24 hours. So great customer service if nothing else. I tried the new package and again, it did not suds up. I gave it to my daughter to try and it worked! Well, it worked on the right side. Foam never appeared on the left. I told her she could keep and use the rest of the package and to rejoice since hers was 50% cleaner than it had been. Actually, since it’s cleaning the disposal and not the pipes, I suppose it's 100% cleaner than it was. For me, I won’t order another package. Not to worry since I don’t use the disposal anyway. I was just trying to be extra clean! I just wish I knew why it didn't work for me.

This product is truly exceptional in every way. After witnessing my friend's success using it for her garbage disposal, I decided to give it a try in my double sinks, even though I don't have a garbage disposal myself. Awful. Did not work at all. Followed instructions carefully twice and still no foam at all. $20 bucks down the drain with these pods!!

It’s just ok. There is better ones out there with way better foaming, cleaning action. So I was disappointed since the brand name is well known for working great. But I will not buy again and go with another brand.

Followed the product instructions to a tee. No foaming action observer. Repeated again in case did something wrong such as to much water stream but again no foam. Only bought it as foaming action so very disappointing.
