Effective BUT very tall
Works as desired, but it's too tall to be the SouthBridge chip cooler on most mATX motherboards as most modern GPU's will hit it. I took an angle grinder to it to and now it fits, just need to reposition the fan . Your call, get creative, it's fun!!!

One of the leads was cut?
Fan worked perfectly once I re soldered the cut wire, I hadn't planned on needing to fix wiring before I installed it, hence the 3 star rating.

Does what it says on the tin.
Fit the north bridge on an old ECS Elite Group LGA775 motherboard with a hot running nForce chipset. Stays around 50C now rather than 80C.
