What are the measurments of this griddle?

The measurements of the cooking surface are a little difficult because the sides are rounded, and there's a raised lip around 3 edges. The center of the flat surface, ignoring the raised edges, is about 14.75 x 18.5 inches. This tapers to about 14 x 16.5 at the edges. I would estimate about 260 square inches of flat cooking surface.

Does this griddle cook evenly?

No. I've used three of these and they all heat the same. The heating element seems to go in a loop around the griddle. When filling the griddle with pancakes, the center is always the coolest, the side near the drain is the next coolest area, and the rest is fairly even as it follows the path of the heating element. I pour the center pancake first, remove it last, and it is still the least cooked of the group. This is true with all 3 of these that I have used.

Is the surface textured?

Has smooth surface like a non stick frying pan always use plastic utensils not metal one ours gets used a lot still looks brand new

Is this dishwasher safe?

If you choose to wash the griddle in the dishwasher, the bottom of the griddle will likely discolor due to the caustic nature of the dishwasher detergent. A gray residue may also form on the griddle bottom which may transfer onto towels and/or skin.
